A Very Damning Balcony Conversation - Nishad Singh Testifies Day 9 SBF on Trial

Ойын-сауық

Overpriced JPEGs - Courthouse Edition!
I was in court all day at SBF's trial and heard former FTX + Alameda exec, Nishad Singh, talk about the time SBF wanted to lie to the CFTC... and also describe the moment he found out Alameda was using FTX customer money to fund their lavish spending.

I think you said it perfectly.. he was willing to take all the praise but the moment everything goes to hell … he absolutely takes no responsibility and blames everybody else. He’s such a sociopathic coward.

I feel bad for SBF. He convinced goofballs who think they are smart, into investing billions with him. Now he’s being crucified for interacting with greedy so called investors who believe in a scam called crypto. Free SBF, and give him a medal for spanking airheads.

When closing arguments happen I hope the prosecutor says exactly what you’ve said here, how SBF enjoyed being the center of attention when things were good and flush but was only too happy to throw others under that bus when the situation turned south. Thanks for doing the work.

Damn, this is your best yet. Thank you for adding context to the convos and testimony, as I think many of us would totally miss the nuance behind all this shit. On a separate note, SBF is totally fucked. The testimony is just too overwhelming. Also, I think you make a great point about SBF's cavalier attitude, and how he was the single link across all of his employees where many of them did not have all the dots to connect to the larger picture. But SBF did, and his whole apology tour was complete bullshit.

I don’t know who you are as I just came across this video but you are really good at this. You comprehend well. Speak in an organized manner and have the ability to articulate with precision. You are either talented or crypto KZreadrs have set the bar really low. I’ve been in crypto since Q311 and never knew of SBF until his arrest (never cared to go to ftx bc crypto isn’t about not having your keys) Anyway, I learned a lot from this video. I also like the channel name. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for this clear report of trial proceedings. I know nothing of investing - bank lady does it all for me - but find this topic is fascinating. I watch another group but they are talking to an audience of people well-versed in the lingo of digital currency and go off on all kinds of tangents where I get lost. Your reporting is clear, concise and explains FTX wrong doings in a way my little brain can absorb and in a way where I learn something. Thanks again.

Now that I know you are on your way to becoming a video pro lemme tell you a few things you may not realize. 1. Whatever setting you are using to record or render out as causes a black border around the frame, its unique but wasted space and suspect not intended. Most edit programs say for youtube with a few options or look it up. 2. Camera should be tilted down some and maybe zoomed in a little, ultimately you want around a hand width from top of head to top of frame. 3 Your lower right logo/watermark is too small to read, if you do that because it gets blurry save it as a .png file & use that. Otherwise great vids, keep it up!

Lol at him trying to press on Sam's conscience with this "oh, it's all three of us's fault", expecting Sam to tell him "nah, it's just me." So familiar to me personally, and just like in this case, the person who got you in a shitty situation in the first place will not be the one to admit it, and will be like "yup, WE focked up". Surprising he didn't follow that up with "yup, and it sucks how YOU guys focked up".

  • @TheCPRshow

Yes! There was too much to talk about today and they didn’t talk about it that all that much in court today. I covered the loan info a lot in my episode on Gary’s testimony. Presumably the mechanics were pretty similar for Nishad. He testified that most of the money never even hit his bank account, it went straight to investments FTX wanted to make and he doesn’t even know exactly how that was facilitated

It is not uncommon for that personality to set up others for taking the blame ( like he did Mrs. Ellison and Mr. Singh [in regards to the political donations]) .
