    I know some Spanish (not fluent) and I know a few curse words and my friend speaks Chinese (Mandarin) and we were teaching each other curse words in each other’s languages and it was fun ngl. Lmao. Forgot what she taught me though lol.

    Mongolian sounded really beautiful. When she first started I thought it sounded Russian (which makes sense), then there was something western European about certain consonants, then when she spoke in the long sentence it sounded more Asian. Such a cool language!

    well, he was taller compared to the translator than most other people, but then again most other people were women. also the translator is pretty tall in his own right. I wouldnt be surprised if the "pretty tall" guy is actually around average height.

One of the things that saddens me the most is that from my tribe the only person who still speaks our language is my grandmother who has alzheimer and I couldn't learn the language because in most Latin American countries they preferred to be seen as white Spaniard than Native/indigenous... that's bs. We lose a lot of our culture because our parents were embarrassed to be seen as indigenous people bc that in their time equated to brute or ignorant smh

    If you're talking about the people in the video, they were likely prompted to be mean or rude after the first girl- why they all seemed to have such a different attitude in their languages compared to in English. If you're talking about the comments, then people are just shitty. they likely only know one language themselves.

    ​@@JBobbyB More the fact that most Dutch people learn English to a functional degree. If the Dutch didn't do that, there'd be a lot more people learning Dutch as a second language, because surprisingly enough, we are actually economically important. Not everyone learns languages because they're useful, some people learn languages because they're interesting (which is one of the reasons I'm currently learning Te Reo Māori, the indigenous language of New Zealand =D)

    Can I ask you how good or bad his Russian was? I work around a lot of Russian immigrants and I did not guess he was speaking Russian. The people I work with do curse but only when something goes wrong or they are exaggerating what they are saying
