I'm the guesser who was reacting to the comment made in the video - she wasn't insinuating they were going to forcible have sex with their husband who was too drunk/ unconscious. They were suggesting that when their husband is drunk, they get friskier and actively wants to have sex. I immediately took the comment as a joke, and maybe it's my dark humor, but as someone who has been r*ped I personally didn't take her comment as a bad spirited joke. Comedians use crude and dark humor all the time, you can say many things in a comedic and humorous context that is morally questionable but completely separate from your own personal moral standing. All this to say- it was a joke. If her husband had reacted in a way that suggested he was offended then maybe it wouldn't be a harmful joke, but that's not the case. If the roles were reversed and he had made the joke and she had laughed, I'd feel the same way. I did not see this at all as condoning SA or promoting it. I think it's a lot of things. Firstly, it's harder on a woman having kids, so I think some women like having non-bio kids because they didn't have to birth them. Secondly, women are more likely to enjoy and be comfortable with spending time with kids in general than men, probably due to gender socialization (for example, which kids are usually given baby dolls to play with?). Thirdly, slut-shaming plays a part - a woman who has sex outside of committed relationships is viewed a lot more negatively than a man who does the same, and a lot of people are likely to assume that's how she got to be a single mom. And lastly, moms are often the default parent especially if the parents aren't in a relationship together, so a single dad who actually has custody is a bit unusual and likely showing more responsibility than a lot of men in his situation would've.
