🤣🤣 me have been wondering too

People forgot about it. And when the stadium and surrounding area was being improved, the contractor just razed the site and threw away the time capsule with the debris.

I am pretty sure the National Stadium time captual was threw away by an ignorant demolition worker as debris because his boss did given special instructions to look out for it.

It's impossible for the capsule to sink - it's not buried directly in the ground Unless the entire structure at 5:28 sank as well.
