To be fair, the nutcases that dance at pride events have a left-leaning political orientation and are more likely to be aware of things like medical cannabis laws.

the medical clinics providing medical cannabis should be sending out letters to every force in the uk perhaps with the legislation included.

If someone showed Hunt the amount of tax revenue legalization of Cannabis would generate in this country, it'd suddenly be going through the courts overnight. Great to see Martin hosting a morning show! Look forward to seeing more of him!

They are probably also unaware that the government are actually endorsing a company to grow cannabis on an industrial scale in Peterborough. There is a direct link between that company and the UK cabinet. What is worrying is that the police dont seem even interested in knowing the current situation regarding medical cannabis in Scotland. whether they know in England, I dont know.

Nice to know that there are some that can benefit from this stuff on prescription. Most Drs or specialists will not even consider it still regardless of the law change in 2018. I am riddled with arthritis and whenever I have had some cannabis it has helped immensly. I dont know where to buy it from though and wouldnt even want to try to find some myself.

You have to find a Dr that has the accreditation to prescribe it. It's a process but not impossible. It also comes in categories, which are all different permits. I get dried flower (THC) and oil (THC). I couldn't get oil on the street, and the buds are better and cheaper than on the streets. Get a vape and you can stroll around puffing it all day.

@@LS-hq1qe you'll need to Google the government's medicinal cannabis access program and it will have a list of doctors who "can" prescribe it, it still depends on the Drs discretion. Hopefully you can find one local to you, then you'll want to go see them to get the ball rolling. Definitely check out medicinal cannabis access FAQ's aswell to make sure you have a case prepared for why you want it.

Take responsibility and approach clinics directly the doctors employed by them are just as good as your doctor at the gp and will overwrite it and get you prescribed. They want your money because most of the clinics also run the dispensaries so once you’re paying for more it’s money back in their pocket

I have degenerative disc disease and use cannabis to help me but it isn’t prescribed. I’ve been on all sorts of medication that hasn’t helped and in fact made me worse with some quiet extensive stomach issues caused by taking to much medication. Cannabis has changed my life for me.

Ignorance of cannabis laws are no excuse just like the officers say to the public. So the police are playing ignorant. But the medical cannabis is really low quality dry and has mold sometimes and charging expensive prices just not acceptable.
