I spent a lot of my childhood playing in the jungles of Borneo but my parents and grandparents mostly taught me about plants that were medicinal, edible, toxic and/or had other practical uses. Only when you are older and have travelled the world do you realise you had taken the beauty of nature for granted when you had it so readily around you.

Like you I grew up in gorgeous gardens....10 years on the island of Java. So many of my indoor plants here in Canada are the same ones that were just part of our huge garden when I was a child. I would love to go back for a day just to walk through those gardens of our house....would have to travel back in time. I think now my house plants are a way to appreciate the foliage I grew up with.

@@jcsmith7898 Yes! And I find that I'm growing and searching for plants that would even be considered a weed. Sometimes I go into shock at the prices that garden centres and ebay sellers charge for certain plants! Now I just propagate and share my plants with family and friends and plant swap groups.
Really enjoyed the Singapore and Thailand series. Would love to see Indonesian series with its native plants.
His collection and knowledge are life goals!
I can't get enough of this amazing garden! Basically, Home needs his own youtube channel. I would watch EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE!!!
I feel like Summer really wanted that thin leafed dracaena. Relatable.
OMG😱 I can't get enough! I feel like an 8y.o. kid in a Disneyland! So amazing!
Home's collections are EPIC and I don't say that lightly. All of his plants should be made into a National Botanic Garden, in Thailand. I've seen a lot of plants in my lifetime... but I am blown away by his collection. Summer Rayne Oaks... your channel rocks... I can't keep up!
You have become my family member without seeing you and listening to you become a missing and emptying feeling lovely presentation 🙏🙏👍👍
If I could like this 100 times, I would. What a gorgeous collection!
This Thai collector has so many beautiful plants and trees, its amazing.
This property needs to be a national treasure. Protected for all time. Beautiful garden.
He said thank you after Summer said Thank you.. This culture is in my country too! I giggled a little
I love that you visit all plants from many countries.. All nice to see..
Absolute Haven ! A testament to his passion and grit. What a gem of a collection.
WOW! THAT'S A SPECTACULAR COLLECTION! THANK YOU FOR THAT SUMMER! I LIKED THEM ALL!!!!!
If seeing all of this in video takes your breathe away I can only imagine what its like in person😍 Thank you for this wonderful video💚
My dream garden. Too many beauties to comment on. 'Landscape meets greenhouse' - a perfect description.
He knows all the plants name, amazing!!
So lucky to be able to see n touch n smell the fresh air in tat garden. How i wish i can be in tat garden with those gorgeous n rare plants too. Thanks anyway for posting tis vid. So envious of u Summer!
This garden is gorgeous, thanks Summer you look beautiful
That thin Dracaena!😍 Definitely the best part of Home's collection for me. I definitely needed this little escape from December in the northeast!
summer, my favorite episode to date! uncarina grandidieri (wicked fruit) Home says dont touch, Summer, i already touched it. you were very lucky, these things are incredibly hard to get off and draw blood. i use to have a large cycad collection and cycas debaoensis was a favorite. brownea macrophylla cant be beat. i remember the first time i ever saw one blooming was at fairchilds in miami. we had to wait several months before we could go back and swipe some seeds. very low germination rate but managed to get a few. plants grew very low and sprawling(about 15 foot across). thanks again to Home for allowing us in his garden. is the b and b open yet? several of us want to come and visit!
Cycas is my favorite. Gives me goosebumps. Soo beautiful
I thoroughly enjoyed all three tours but the tropicals have a little bit of a winning edge. Such an excellent garden and gardener. Can't wait to see where you go next!
Thanks you for sharing this video, you have excuisite collection,i really enjoy watching your video.i whish i have this huge collection someday.great job.👍👍👍
Home enjoys that rarified level of horticulture where one grows not only choice species but rare and superior varieties of said species. His success with seed production of Brownea macrophylla is illustrative of what a dedicated expert hobbyist can achieve. I love that he refers to ground covers as ‘dressing’. ~ You narrowly escaped a sticky situation when touching the Uncarina , aka ‘mousetrap tree’, fruit. Those barbed fruits are extremely difficult to extricate once they get a hold of you. ~ I liked all three episodes but the succulent and cactus tour was my favorite. (I’m a lapsed foliage aficionado, currently suffering from xeric-mania.)
Thailand field trips are amazing. Thanks for making them.
what a wonderfull garden/greehouse ! every plant is beautiful, rare, precious ...bravo, and thank you Summer!!!
It was like a dream which I don't want to wake up from!
Labisia is my fav. This man's home is a dream!
I can only imagine the sensory overload- visually this was stunning. Schizophrenic cat sounds like a pretty accurate description. I've enjoyed all of the Home series, so I can't pick a favorite, I just need more.
I have truly enjoyed this series! So much information & knowledge shared 👍🏼👍🏼🥰
Wow 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I'm in awe on his private backyard nursery to rare to unknown plants from all over the world 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 did any body notice how the whole back yard nursery shaded by sheer net from the sun ? ... This is so amazingly beautiful and interesting. I was going "WOW" every second of the video.
The cycads he has are gorgeous!
Schefflera is defnitely one the most underrated plant I've come across. I absolutely love them but there's nowhere enough interest for them.. It's just so nice to see his collection, definitely made my day!
Wow ! He must have over a million baht worth of plants in his collection. I live in Thailand and I'm from New York City. I'm a high school biology teacher in Bangkok.
Could listen to this guy talking all day his way of speaking is really entertaining " Yes yes, han han, yes " " mAdAgAscAr " " dracaenA" " flowEr " " colOur " His knowledge is amazing, really respect that a lot !
This be me one day, when I have my friends over I will talk to them about my plants for ages.
I loved the schizophrenic cat comment. You were feeling it, I was feeling it just watching these videos....must have been something to be there in person. Hope he helped you source one of those thin Dracena's. Enjoyed this content greatly.

I have a ‘budding’ tropical greenhouse but wow! Brilliant to see the real thing in situ. So pleased to discover your channel. 😃
Can you imagine living there? So gorgeous. I love the escargot leaves the best that are like an accordion. The three-leaf plant with the spike flower reminded me of a Jack-In-The-Pulpit bloom. I love this video series Summer. Thanks so much for sharing.
All the plants that look like fans! LOL! they looked AMAZING! I cannot even begin to choose which episode I like best, all I wanted was too see more and more🥰. Does he live there? if so I can only imagine what the inside looks like! Thank you Home for sharing your fascinating green house, I enjoyed every bit of it! Loved your skipping Summer😁

Enjoyed all 3 parts of Home's collection.
Amazing collection!! Thanks for sharing
Love love love your videos !!! Thanks to you I’m addicted to plants :)
I love PARTII of this tour. I have weakness for variegated plants. I grew up surrounded with houseplants specially crotons :)
Hopefully sanctuaries like these can hold onto some of the Earth’s once bountiful biodiversity for the next 70 or so years while humanity adjusts to the Great Extinction we’re experiencing. Very informative tour, excellent production quality. Keep up the good work!
Loved all 3 but my fave was the variegated one. I was amazed at the many kinds of plants with variegation! Including the durian tree!
I enjoyed I,II & III. More power to you Summer! 🙏
Nature is mind boggling!

I can't believe he's just like "oh yeah here's this new cultivar. It's not available to the public yet, but I got it"
This is my favorite of the 3 tours. I really hope to see some Labisia or Ardisia for sale here in Norway some day! My favorites.
