Plant + Planter Shopping + Paludarium Making at a Mall in Thailand - Vlog 031

My friend Home didn't want to see me go away so soon, so I traveled back up to Bangkok to help him with his big botanical show at the Megabangna Shopping Mall-an unlikely place for a plant show...or maybe it's the MOST appropriate place for one!

    I love the fact that we can get as simple or as complicated (making a whole new type of climate/environment) as we'd like with plants. I like to look at all the more tropical species but at the same time a Tiger or Staghorn Fern is as high matinence as I'd like to get as far as humidity and containment goes.

    I love this! The Paludarium was so gorgeous. Your workshop was so informative. I have a bunch of coral rock could I use that instead of rock? Or would it be too alkaline? They have long been out of the fish tanks but I would like a way to reuse them rather than throw them away.

  • @summerrayneoakes

    @summerrayneoakes

    4 жыл бұрын

    It's a great question. I think it would take the coral a while to disintegrate, but you'd probably be planting directly on Sphagnum and not the coral. Whether it affects the alkalinity of the water for some water-loving species, I'm not certain.
