LONDON PLANT SHOP Tour: N1 Garden Center - Vlog 036
Earlier in the year, I managed to stop over in London on my book tour for, "How to Make a Plant Love You", and got a chance to see the plants for sale at the N1 Garden Center, which was one of the plant shops podcaster Jane Perrone had mentioned to me. Amazing to see the differences in plants in London compared to the United States!
**Please keep in mind that this film was done pre-coronavirus, so wearing masks and staying a 'safe' distance was not required, but thank you to all who express concern. **

I used to go to this shop when I lived in London. It has such a wide selection and the staff were very helpful.
Hey summer, I just wanted you to know how much I Appreciate your videos. I’m a recovering addict of h and after a couple years of faking it till I made it, plants have really become a thing I can truly put before myself and care for. With your help I’m up to 20 plants and more on the way. You have truly been part of my process of turning my life around. (I’m literally in tears) but I need to thank you for all you do. Keep it up. You have inspired me to be a better person. It’s really your fault passion. I love it. Thank you so so much for all the helpful info you provide. You really are a plant saver. it till

What a brilliant shop! I love how over-stuffed it is. And so interesting to see the plants that we do not have in the U.S.
This is my local garden centre and plant shop. Love it.

By far the cleanest, greenest looking plants I’ve seen in a shop! Beautiful and great shop
That store was a great recommendation by Jane - thanks for taking us along Summer!
This is CRAZY! While watching this video I was also trying to research the plant I bought today at the supermarket was. Then, you showed the Jatropha Podagrica and I lost my mind! What are the odds that the day you put out a video you probably filmed some time last year in London with an obscure plant in the mix would come out the day I purchased an unlabeled plant you showcased!?! AWESOME!
what a lovely shop tour! just what i needed at the end of a stressful monday.
oh man, what a selection! i have plant envy for sure now. thanks, Summer. really enjoyed this.

I was at that same garden center probably just a few days before you (Oct 13th 2019)!!! I know I missed your book tour by just a couple of days. I was in London visiting some friends who live near this garden center and they took me there. I had just started getting into houseplants and took some pics of this place, which looked so pretty and with such a variety of plants I was not familiar with. Coming from Spain, this place was kind of exotic to me, in the type of plants they had. Looking back, I would probably be able to name a lot more plants than last year. Hopefully I will be able to go back soon!!
Don't know why...just happy to see you laugh You share the love by your laugh. Thanks for the tour

That plant store is jam packed with goodies! I’ve never seen so much variety in any greenhouse in the Northeast except for Logee’s. Good selection of plant related items, too.
Wow Summer's in London! What a great little plant shop, they were so well stocked too! I would always think that the USA had a better choice but there's always something different where you travel, so an American being impressed with what we have surprised me haha. I am not sure London is the best place for large garden centres, and there are so many huge ones, but I would be happy visiting that one every day myself! Thanks Summer... sorry about our weather!
I always look forward to your plant shop tours. More power to your channel miss Summer Rayne. Also I do hope we get to see your collaboration with miss Jane Perrone. Over the Ledge podcasts and Plant One on Me vlogs made me get through this tough times we are in.

There's an epipremnum pinnatum called 'Blue form' that is green. Probably the one in this shop. Apparently there has been many labelled as Cebu blue since many people want them, but that are actually the blue form. I have them both and the blue form is clearly not the same as the cebu blue. Love them both 💙🌿

The plant at 12:48 does look like a Hoya cumingiana to me. The hanging plants at 14:02 is Hoya pauciflora and at 14:22 is Hoya wayetii. I have all of these Hoyas in my collection. They're all beautiful plants!

I love Hoya. I have had a variegated one in a window in the same pot for years, often a bit neglected, and it does well. It came from a little piece swiped from a big one hanging in a restaurant. My sis took it home, planted it, and it quickly became a large plant. She then gave me a piece which I planted over a decade ago. I Have repotted it once. It does flower in warm weather. Hers unfortunately died after being moved from one house to another, I offered her a piece of my variegated one, but she had already bought another, pretty, but not variegated. I am a retired nurse, and would occasionally fill in at a local psych ward. There was a hallway which had huge variegated Hoya hanging under a greenhouse type ceiling which afforded great sun. I think they were rarely watered, but looked healthy and were covered with blooms.
