Oh wow, can't believe you reacted to this, the story is based on an old Korean folklore tale dating back to the 17th century, pretty much all Koreans know the tale of two sisters whose original storyline differs a little from this movie...regarding your questions, the mother committed suicide by hanging, stepmom didn't kill her; and the wife of the stepmom's brother at the dinner table, she was having an epileptic seizure, not an allergic reaction to peanuts or shellfish... Well, there's a movie called 'The Wailing' worth checking out if you're on a Korean horror trail but do 'The Man from Nowhere' (action/drama) first, I've been recommending it and I just know you'll LOVE it!

That is so cool that it is based on Old Korean Folklore. We all thought this was very well done, and now we know why. To your request, We had intended to watch A Tale of Two Sisters later in the summer, but We had to make a change to our schedule so we could get Fifi in, but We are definitely watching The man from Nowhere very soon. It will come out in the next few weeks. Thanks for stopping by, it is great to hear from you again!
