I really like your videos
Love Panama from Asia.
You are so underrated. Your videos are always almost mostly accurate (you really do your research and not just read off of wikipedia) and the content is so entertaining. Great channel and I hope your channel have a successful future!

I thought the interruption was going to be a ship horn to represent the canal.
Why does this channel only have 45k subs? There are so many other "History" channels that are not nearly as funny, and not nearly as accurate or all encompassing (and thrift). Taken in regions, listening to a few of these quick bios gives a better sense of the history and current situations in the world today. Great channel.

Thank you for loving our country 👍
Goes to show that a big thing can be accomplished in a country so small. Well, Panama is not really small, but still. Next is the gateway to Oceania… Papua New Guinea! 🇵🇬

Hey Mr History, I really love your videos and I think that you should open a tiktok account and you could reupload your videos there or so some other kind of history things there as it would draw lots of attention to your channel!

Panama should have been given an offer to join the U.S. as the 51st state and that offer should still extended. Jimmy Carter made a big foreign policy mistake. If Panama was the 51st state, you would not have the overflow... of migrants at the Darien Gap. The movement could greatly slow if not stop.

Panama got independence from Spain in 1821 idiot it will never do that

Well, as a Panamanian I should not approve your comment... but seeing that Carter literally gave the Canal to the country, yes. Either way, there was never a "deal" of Panama forming part of the United States. What they owned was actually the Canal, not the country. The area of the Canal is quite big, but during those years, the Americans did not behave well with the Panamenians, and a lot of racism was involved as well. After many political issues and even a dictatorship, that's when the Canal was finally given to Panama in 1999. In summary, what the USA did to Panama was basically freeing them from Gran Colombia, by letting them build a Canal. If the Canal is now Panama's property, well that's their "small" mistake. But ever since it's Panama's property, the country has not stopped growing. I am Panamanian btw
