Second, Taiwan has already become diversified, which is not the same as PRC. A few clarifications: During the Ming dynasty, China fought a war in Korea to repel a Japanese invasion. This was known as the Imjin War. Korea was a protectorate at the time and had requested aid, and it would have undermined China’s influence in the region to refuse even though the Ming dynasty itself was financially stretched. Second, technological advancement continued in the Ming but without the massive infusion of colonial wealth experienced by Europe. Spanish silver poured into China in exchange for tea, silk, porcelain, but China itself never controlled the silver mines. This created significant economic gyrations that ultimately weakened both dynasties. Third, an important reason the Ming withdrew from state backing of maritime trade was the perception that a preceding dynasty, the Song, had been hobbled by factional conflict between different merchant groups making their profits overseas. The Ming wanted to curb the power of these merchants.

To everyone saying Taiwan isn’t a part of China, yea it 100% is. Ask the government in Taiwan itself. Both the Chinese and Taiwanese government officially claim Taiwan is a province of China. The only difference in their perspective is who should lead China. The ROC and PRC both claim to be the rightful government of all of China. Imagine if there was a Civil War in the US and one side was left only holding Hawaii. But both sides still claimed to be the rightful US government and President.

But before you actually get it, which i doubt you can, refuting the fact is even more miserable. It is a regime name that is not recognized by the world, simple as that.
