Thank you Cathy! My geraniums do well as long as I keep them in the front yard. The back is too hot and gets the southwest sun all afternoon. It is dry here with not much humidity, but geraniums work well for me.

Your table is so beautiful. I love how you get your quilts out and use them.

Thank you Ann! Yes, that would be a great idea to show the taco salad buffet. It was wonderful as was the company. They did take their spools with their name tag home with them. I love using sewing/quilting items even when setting that table for all of us quilters.

Thank you Shirley! I try to keep my geraniums in the front of my house which faces East. They get the morning sun and a little afternoon sun. I can’t keep them for long in the summer on the deck. It is too hot.

Exciting to hear you are having a website too. Especially loved the granny quilt on your kitchen table. So enjoyed the fabric choices. It's 6 am here and in my sewing room working on a quilt for a teen grandson. Kris is a drummer in his school marching band. So using a palette of red, black, white music fabric with some metallic and frosted black and gray metallics for accent. The fabrics give it a nice zip pity foo da feeling like a good old marching band!! Thanks for another nice visit into your home. Always fun. I have missed a few so going back to watch as I'm sewing.

I use red Geraniums also. Are the ones out by the Adirondack chair in the ground or in Pots on top of the ground? Do you hand bind all your quilts also, I wonder if after you’ve used your quotes on the table, do you wash them I would be afraid they would get stained by food. Your guests are going to be so happy! You have done all you can to accomplish that goal! How fun! But I have to know as I am a geranium admirer. Are you in grown geraniums real? I struggle here in eastern North Carolina to get them to look good. I can maintain them and they bloom but they don’t fill out. I’m going to have to do more research on them. I’ve never seen geraniums like yours. They are so pretty.

When the temperature gets too hot the flowers get real small. When the temperature comes down the flowers are full and they look the best.

Thank you for the information. I had begun to suspect it is just too hot where I have them. I am in Zone 8A. The sun is too bright and is stressing them too much. It is a testament to nature that they still try to grow and please me. Next season I will move them to an area that gets only a few hours of the southern sun. @@pigtailquiltingstitching5635

Thank you so much! I keep my geraniums in the front of my house during the hot temperatures. It faces East and gets the morning sun. At times when the heat is intense the flowers are smaller and don’t last very long. I do fertilize my geraniums regularly.
