Everything looks wonderful and this is the way I used to eat before my doctor stuck me on a low sodium diabetic diet! These days are long gone for me so enjoy while you can!
Jenilee, I enjoy watching your channel. You have a beautiful home and family. Although you are a young woman, you remind me of an old soul (which is a compliment). Your voice is so calming. I just love watching and listening to you. God bless you and your family!

yes! i'm an old cook and this young lady relaxes me,such a wonderful channel, glad i found her i was scrolling along. i do love everything homemade as possible
I saw a meal plan that really worked for me. One for winter and one for summer. Make a 4 week meal plan and use the same meal plan every month for the summer and make another meal plan for winter for 4 weeks. Use the same meal plan each month. If you want to add an additional 4 week plan for every season then change the meal plan every other month. Maybe try a diifferent one for Fall and additional one for spring where you will be able to add asparagus and fresh peas, broccoli and cabbage if you grow spring crops

That's a great idea! I love seasonal eating.
Good advice. More, more, and more is not the goal. Slower and purposeful is a much better goal.
I have a brown sugar bear that I've had for years. Love it so much that i once bought a few and gave as wedding shower or housewarming gifts along with brown sugar. I love simplicity in all things. Nice video, enjoyed and subscribed after my first watch which is rare for me.
Just a side note about your sauerkraut (which looks delicious). Once heated it loses its probiotic benefits. 🙂

From what I’ve read and heard, to be probiotic it can’t be heated (or canned - as in water bathing ). It needs to be raw. If heated it is still delicious and good for you, just not probiotic

All those dishes looked delicious. I can remember that we had a cheese grater exactly the same as the one you used when I was a child in the 1950's!

Oh my word! The pasta dish at the end looked DELICIOUS!!!!!
Everything looked fabulous!!! You have it down pat how to make great food all at home!!! God bless.
The banana, nut muffins look so yummy. Will give them a go. Even as a grandmother in her 60's, I still look for ways that I could improve my homemaking. It's always an ongoing process.
Thank you for all the recipes. I 'd love to bake banana muffins. I think I will use half of wholegrain flower and half of regular one. Yours looked stunning 🌸

Jennifer on A Country Life takes several kinds of meat from the freezer. Then she uses them according to that day's schedule and plans sides to go with it. I like this. The hardest thing is when no meat is thawed.

i agree i love to live like this i shop in bulk i have an extra freezer and its wonderful, but you have to pack your meat so it thaws quickest, even i forget, for example i keep meaning to do my chopmeat in a sandwich bag standing up it takes lil freezer space and thaws quicker, but i constantly forget, drives me crazy, thats why i came here for inspiration. she is great

i'm from France and i'm a bit shocked that your herbes de provence have lavender in it. Here lavender is to be put in the laundry or as perfume the air ....

Herbs de Provence don't really have lavender in them around here but lavender can be consumed. It is quite popular in evening teas that are meant to help you relax and help you fall asleep.
Get yourself a new waffle maker. That thing is lethal with the broken lid handle.
No…you gotta have real maple syrup!

3 meals a day are not good for a person. Its too much food. Do a late morning brunch and then a early evening dinner.
