There are too much difference between believe and seeking. Main difference is that you will not harm regularly others or yourself because you believe something. All religion promise haven after death but yoga says haven is within you just explore it.

Yea, it is difficult. Look, everybody has to take care about oneself on a daily basis to stay alive, except only babies, who are cared for by their parents. If you don't care about oneself, who else will? Or did I misunderstood the message? Is dispassion the same as not caring for? But everybody has to sleep, take showers, brush teeth, etc.? Or is it something else?

I had an enormous epiphany today. I’m selfish and have been my whole life. I’m an nice, very sweet. Loving and giving…but I am very neglectful to those who love me the most. Who love me with actions…not just words. I’m having such a hard time looking at myself in this moment, and quite fearful as everything in my world is turning very very very bad. I can’t even claim to hate myself right now, because I’m so disgusted with myself it’s just like the emotion I have is not tangible. But this video just really help me a lot I was afraid that maybe there was no turning back and then I had sealed my fate in the fate of those around me. Thank you for sharing this.

Great ending lines...in Indian philosophy we believe that it's not ust this life we have but the soul takes many births in many bodies and we get everything due to accumulated karma of all these births. So it's complex but yes the best way to deal with it is to start doing good karma. Everyone does good karma for the self but those who start doing good karma for others, reduces the bad karma they might have accumulated and the most valuable karma is creating good thoughts for others as our vibrations too affect others. Start sending blessings to everyone and see the goodness in them and your life will be happy. God bless everyone 😊

How can I have dispassion for myself and absolute passion for others? It doesn't sit right. Maybe I didn't grab the main concept. But I couldn't understand how I'm gonna do that when my life revolves around things that I do to better myself, to put food on my table and do things for future. After choosing me first then only I can have absolute passion for others. Correct me if anything I've realised wrong.

Don't make any conclusions about anything that you see externally. Keep your mind open and absolutely free . The most important aspect of life which is you is , you just "be" , don't try to think about yourself because that is fake . I'm saying just bring total ease within you and become silent within yourself. Then you will slowly become dispassionate. The best way is through meditation. Try . It will work :)

This is a kind of Zen trick! The real answer is to realise that the separation between ourselves and others is illusory. There is no 'I and other', there is just this. If you focus on them rather than yourself, you are still caught in the trap of believing 'you' are separate. Still, if you try really hard for long enough, this will show you that it can't be done and that the reason is because there is no individual 'you'. But he could have just said it! 🙂

However, we mere mortals can practise kindness where kindness is deserved. Those who value their own needs/feelings more than others are the ones who need to listen to his message, i.e. the meat thief, in your example.

So I work my ass of during the night with unhealthy sleep deprivation to get at least the critical of my own tasks done. But obviously not enough energy left to excel. They have my help and their day work, so they shine. They are thankful but not even will mention my participation. Just come again for the next problem to me. All get promoted, get their success, while myself is about to drown in piles of thing todo and problems because of lack of results and repairs. So how about that?! I cannot not help, because it just feels natural. But my own problems nobody handles, so I die by wear.

Namaste Sadhguruji 🙏🙏 I always have a doubt as which karma is more burdensome in this present life ....is it our own karma from previous birth or the karmic baggage of our ancestors .

Sadguru, you have explained it so well...I am trying to wipe all the memories and keep only Shri Krishna's memories.Shrikrishna said it in Bhagvat Gita.."सर्व धर्मान परित्यज्य मामेकम शरण व्रज"। Surrender, renouncement, devotion to Shri Krishna is the solution.. श्रीकृष्ण शरणम्म मम "
