Beautiful endproduct, but a hardened file is extremely brittle. If this falls onto a hard surface from 1m it will shatter. I have seen many files shatter in this way. Blades made of this steel can be sharpened to an incredible sharpness, but they are incredibly vulnerable to chipping and breaking.
I like the fact the original file grooves are still there but I'm trying really hard to understand the choice to grind out seemingly random grooves on the back.

It doesn't serve any real purpose other than aesthetics. I actually liked it because it gave that knife its own unique style
