A Rip Around Les Arcs Bike Park! French Alps Tour

Спорт

Watch this to get an inside look at some of the trails at Les Arcs Bike Park!
This video is more than just POV, we stop and look at the tricky features to give you a really rider perspective of the bike park.
Les Arcs is located in the heart of Tarentaise area of the French Alps. It's easily assessable from the funicular in Bourg St Mourice and is home to some quality trails ranging from mellow flow to steep tech!
Les Arcs is becoming a staple backbone of our French Alps Tour being a firm favourite for a lot of riders. They have also hosted big race events which brings in some of Europes best DH racers! If it's good enough for them, It's good enough for you! haha
The trail network at Les Arcs bike park lends itself to becoming an awesome DH loop!
There are a handful of lifts which all have a few trails under each.
It works well to take the lift up, session the trails under that particular lift and then traverse onto the next one.
By the end of the day you then end up back where you started at Arc 1600 and then have the option to take the massive descent back to Bourg st Maurice or take the funicular back down.
It's a great venue to ride downhill trails, look beyond the map and you will also be rewarded! Massive Techy descents for as long as you can hold on!

Hi trail hub did you drive to Les Arcs or did you fly? I went a few years back by car but wanted to know how easy it is to fly, best airport transfer time etc. Keep making the content really good informative stuff.

Hi Ben, Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoy it! I always tend to drive for more freedom and ease of use when you're in resort. It works out cheaper especially if you have 2/3 others to split costs with. To access the Tarentaise part of the Alps in the summer it can also be tricky for airport transfers. It usually involves getting a private one which is expensive. your closest airport with the most options is Geneva and you're looking at a 2 hr ish transfer to Bourg St Mourice. I host holidays here in August, Part of our package offers airport transfers. Let me know if you'd like more info.
