This just looks terrifying to me. I give the biggest of props to people that can do these.

These days the bikes do much of the work as the tech on a quality MTB is crazy , all you do is hold on and follow the front wheel for the most part but yes it does take some skill and guts as well but its not as hard as it looks . Cancel Reply

you can do anything you have a desire for. its seems difficult because u dont have the desire to do it. it's scary for me too because i know i don't have a passion for riding mtbs

Well thanks for the props mate
You young riders ( i'm 77) have no idea how skilled you are compared to when MT, biking first started ,back in the days of the invention of the Mt. bike in Marin county calif. we NEVER imagined it was possible what is being done today .

Didn't you boomer kids just use old-timey road bikes and just throw yourself down sketchy fire roads up in the hills? Kids probably got messed up with injuries etc, but all the innovations that came from kids just trying anything to see what happens is why we have everything as is today. Props!

we used mostly cruisers /clunkers , like for example , a schwinn doubly top tube bike which was very popular in the late fifties . the brakes were coaster/reverse pedal . stopping took forever 😂

It’s the progress and gear. You guys arguably had more guts because you hadn’t seen people demonstrate what was possible yet, and gear was far from smooth or forgiving.

i think the "guts" thing is the same in every generation . We did ceremonies to the elementals and the local Gods at the top, to assist us in stopping .😂
Three hours in that park, 5 days in the St. Franziskus Hospital, clavicle broken in three, emergency surgery, titanium plate with 7 screws, a broken rib and the worst of all, two injured ribs + the hospital cold, coughing is the worst of all. Anyway, it was my fault.

I've been watching your videos a lot lately. I've been focused on work and getting life sorted out that I've put cycling on the back burner. I'm looking forward to getting my bike up and running and hitting the local trails. Thanks for keeping the spark alive.
I recently went to winterberg with a couple of friend coming from the west side of the netherlands. Pretty much zero downhill there. It is just insane how much you can progress in a well build bikepark in 2 days. I even did the roadgap which is like 5 times bigger than the drops i did before. Amazing video.
Awesome video man! I got a friend who trail races and works as a mechanic at a bike shop. he’s walkin me through the basics right now at tiny, learner bike parks, so it’s always a treat to see someone braving out the extreme trails like these. Cheers and keep up the awesome content!
Your purpose for posting these videos have served well! I'm 43 now and needed to find something to keep me fit and to build up some muscle since I've lost some from amphetamine use over the years. Not heavy drug use, but since I'm getting old I feel the need to both get more fit and have some more thrilling action at the same time. I also need to meet people and get away from home. I'm usually a lonewolf and stay home most time by myself but I feel the urge to out there now! Usually I just ride my longboards or drive my motorcycle, but I'm gonna give this a try, nothing fancy or expensive to begin with. Just a used bike with suspension. I started out with motorcycles as age 7 and also some mtb in my teens but motocross got too expensive and a lot of other things in life took over. Worked as motorcycle courier year around so I got some good backbone and muscle memory. Thanks for the inspiration man!
I never get tired of watching these videos of yours. Greetings from Colombia!
I love watching this ,..almost as entertaining as a movie !!! So glad you share your skill ,..
Wow! Just ran into your channel and those bike trails are amazing! Looks scary but for you it's probably nothing but thanks for sharing! It's beautiful and so cool!
i love mountian biking. Been doing it all the time here in America and we are going back to germany soon so its great to see this place and all the trails. Have heard of the bike park before and hope that I will get to riding it sometime. This looks right up my alley!
10:45 man I laughed at that part. Something about coming across a part you’re not expecting is something I can relate to. Really great video, great skill as well.
i love a track that has a rhythm to the turns and jumps, nice smooth rhythm.
Thanks for the adventure, that looked like so much fun!
So much fun. Thank you for taking us with you!!
You are a skilled man! Kudos!
Your crazy man! Nice riding! 🚲
Thanks for the insight into the Winterberg Bike Park! I don't ride mountainbikes myself, but pass through Winterberg a couple times every year on my motorbike. Always see loads of mountainbikers there enjoying themselves and I always wondered what exactly they're doing there... now I know. Looks pretty amazing to me, and I know I'd be a #1 candidate for the rescue helicopter if I ever tried this myself... 😂 So I guess I'll stick with the summer toboggan and ziplines when I go there...
This place looks sick. well maintained and well run.
0:56 Some soft treestumps to cushion your fall. Nice touch. 🤣
These tracks are absolutely amazing! I’d love to try them someday!

Love your videos! Keep up the great work.
15 minutes in before i took my first look at the scenery around you. Beautiful place
That was incredible! Loved it!Thanks!
How beautiful but difficult to come from the sunshine and into dark areas where the bridges are located .
jesus! My heart's pounding just watching this!
So much land to explore and nice weather too. 🙂
That’s such a cool pov above the tire❤
Que estrada da hora , parabéns pelo vídeo 👏👏
I wish all kids had access to something like this. It would keep them out of trouble!
This is actually incredible been seeing your videos for a while and I wanted to know what bike you use to travel these paths (maybe buying that one)
amazing video, the way u control the situation in some scenarios its like magic, 1 question tho How many bones have you broken so far XD?
I appreciate these videos because I will never ever do this. But it's cool to see it from 1st person POV

Pretty amazing park, has a very natural and rough edge feel to it and the wood work looks like a ton of fun.

This looks so fun...I need to get into this sport
Absolutely insane!
Me and the boys went here in '11 and called it the broke back brake tour.... I broke my back brake. As did you. If youre going to Winterberg take some brake spares 😂 great commentary. Really enjoyed being your passenger.
damn, this looks like soo much fun. Those dirt paths look nice. Absolutely hate the wooden bridges too. Falling on those would mess me up BAD 😂
And we have Baker Creek Preserve in my neck of the woods... jealous. This place is amazing 🤘
looks sick definitely a new place to go on my bucket list! and also you got any news on the downhill bike you hinted at or you off that thought now?? much love keep it up

as a german I am really amazed the "craziest" is actually here in Germany, not only that, but in Winterberg that close to me, thats where we drove to ride sledges when I was a child
This park is SICK! Great riding... Stumps always win. Cheers.

i didn't know that there's a place like that near me just 1 hour buy car. awesome ..i will visit for sure and i am so excited to ride my bike there. thnx man for that. really i am thankful. and really nice video
I have been to a bike park a full total of twice with only taking easy and intermediate tracks. This looks scary as hell, I actually tensed up.
Holy shit, the new lines in Winterberg look AWESOME. Looks like I need to finally get some new brakes on my bike so I can run these with more confidence than I've done in the past.
You made it look easy. Nice one mate.
Every time I watch your videos it gets me excited for my next ride. Even tho the trails I do don't have jumps lol

I life in Winterberg. Its never getting boring. But you cant imagine how much people land in the hospital after some trails. You have to visit DirtMasters Festival in Winterberg.
What free wheel or hub are you using? Sounds insanely good. Those tracks look crazy especially the wooden features.
Looks awesome! It's got everything .

This is insane. I'm alway wondering what kind of mount you're using for your X3?
Amazing to see the dedication and passion people put into making these courses while maintaining the beauty and using the natural landscape.
ちょっとした起伏でジャンプしてるのがマリオカートみたいでかっこいい!
What a fun sport. Love it.
Went to Winterberg a couple of times like 15 years ago or so. Nice to see how much they expanded everything! Shame they cut so many trees though :)

I don't think they did that on puropse... Climate Change is killing all the Spruce trees in Germany right now. Last years spring we had two storms back to back - after that you could hear chainsaws literally for weeks, cutting up all the fallen trees.
@trailbuilder5789

We have problems in Germany with the trees. They're dying because theres not enough rain, missmanagement in the forests and the f* bark beetle 😢
@Bioshyn

the trees died due to bark beetles, tehy all died on their own, there were some hills in Germany with all dead trees, it's now growing back slowly, and it's not just firs anymore

@@BioshynYeah, that's the good part. Monocultures are finally being replaces with mixed forests again. Shame that it took bark beetle infestations for that to happen
Sir, I think you just peaked my interest for mountain biking!
I grew up in the 60's with some trails that we rode on, but -nothing like these. I don't think the bikes we had then would have made it through some of these trails.
How do u even do this bro me watching you makes me scared I amazed how much confidence u have to attempt anything keep it up
These bikes have amazing durability. I can't believe they aren't just falling apart under you haha
This looks so gnarly, I almost didn’t watch thinking it was gaming content lol 😅🤣
mbt pickup line, "are you a diamond track? bc ur hard to do" 😂😂😂😂
I would've screamed if I went over those drops unexpectedly.
super cool its very crazy bro
Nice ridding! The dh tracks look very nice :) 👍🏼

That place looks AMAZING
I like how you have Shadow Wizard Money Gang playing in the background pretty much the whole time
This looks very fun and yet very scary to me ❤❤
Such a cool park! I hope there is somewhere like this in China.
Hadn't seen your sht before, watched the whole thing, really enjoyable my man. Idk why but really tired of MTB-pov stuff in general but this was nice. ✌

Stoked on this! Thanks for your feedback 🙏 trying to do things a little different
When I saw Wolfpack I thought I recognised the voice. I remember you and partner from riding at Hamsterly years ago.
I'd fly off the track by looking at the beautiful background, the lake, or not being able which turn to make, etc.
Gorgeous countryside and great rides. Jealous indeed.
Le set d'halloween est super joli 😍 Pour info, la maison éclairée avec la pièce secrète est actuellement à Jouéclub pour 99e 😉
This is sick I just have some questions. How do you guys not slide out when taking a sharp turns on dirt? If you do end up taking a bad spill, how do you get help? Like if you broke your arm or something.
you shred bro this was sick
Awesome Video, thank you for this interesting Ride. Is a fully a must have or can you ride this with a hardtail too?
This looks so fun!
I live in San Francisco, just across the GG bridge from "the birthplace of mountain biking " (Mt. Tamalpais) and the location of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame (Fairfax) . . . And yet STILL we have absolutely ZERO lift servivces available anywhere nearby. Nor do we have any trails that are even CLOSE to being as well made or as well maintained as these . . . Its NOT fair. We got Joaquin Miller Park in East Bay, El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve in the Penninsula, and Annadel State Park up in Santa Rosa. If you have a car (most of us in SF dont) or can talk a riding buddy that has one into taking the trip, you got Santa Cruz about 90min drive South and Auburn a little over two hours to the East with Downieville right after Auburn . . . NONE of them have ANY lift service of any kind whatsoever. Youre lucky and blessed German riders
Imagine if the bike lifts actually went as fast as they did in that Timelapse
Some mountain biking just looks like a DIY rollercoaster
that looks sick! 😃
Of all of the great track you ride, I seem to be happiest to see you don't use the excessively wide bars. Showing my age I suppose.
I am rather astonished, that a rider that is capable of participating in the gnar series finds that WiBe ist crazy :) This is where i started my bikeparkexperience around 2010... and it was a lot crazier. They already easened it up a lot since then. Imagine going with a doublecrown equipped bike on the northshore and there would be one feature, that goes up, around a tree and back down. Only problem with this: The turning circle of a DH bike doesnt allow you to drive this feature without falling off. No hint or signs anywhere. Just to point out 1 of many craaazy features that i rode or (mostly) couldnt ride. Nevertheless i like your vid alot.
you fast dude, epic
4:13 subbed ❤ you’re brave lol
Amazing track bro👍👍👍
"Oh my God, Oh my Go-CRASH"
Jarrod’s Place Bike Park in Summerville, GA is the best! We have a Brand New Farmhouse in Summerville, GA listed on Airbnb if you need a place to stay when you come to bike! 6 beds/6 baths. Pool, Hot tub, Sauna! Wraparound porch titled “Brand New Farmhouse” on Airbnb
I need to go to one of these
i watched 10 seconds and my stomach already knotted time to watch full screen in 1080p
What is that pipe following the whole path down that's kinda floating/ suspended in the air in the middle of the path up high?
