But protective mum Ginger is keeping the keepers guessing about whether or not she’s given birth, by rarely leaving the nesting box. It’s up to the team to wait until she’s safely out of way before having a peek- and seeing if there’s a newborn inside.

Me too. I'd like a giant panda plushy as well but at a metre tall it's a bit harder to hide away than my lesser panda is.

They live in the Himalayan mountain ranges of China, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet, and their territory is being decimated by humans. Deforestation, poaching, accidental trapping and an illegal pet trade have caused the wild population of red pandas to shrink to just around 10,000 individuals (sciencing.com/red-pandas-endangered-6775531.html). Anyone who tries to make a pet out of a red panda stolen from the wild gets what they deserve! Adorable as they are, they also bite when touched and pee on EVERYTHING!

Red Pandas: one of the rare instances in nature where an animal gets cuter when it becomes an adult.
This zoo should install cameras in each of these little homes/nests to keep a close eye on the little darlings.It would be much easier for the keepers to monitor the Red Pandas health and welfare. That cub is too cute for words.

OMG, Red Panda's are definitely the cutes animal in ENTIRE animal kingdom of all TIME!! Good lord even their babies squeal are cute!! Im literally besides myself from the amount of CUTESS coming off the "Red Panda"!! 🥰🤗 🥺has the world been hiding the red racoon from only ME???
