Hey Jimmy! Just got this model Firefly NEW FFTL ELECTRIC GUITARS ( Sunburst Color ) semi=hollow with Bigsby like trem! I am so impressed with it! It's my 6th Firefly now and definitely one of the best.

This model is almost identical to my trans-blue FFTL, except that mine seems to have the proper bridge placement. Incidentally, I didn’t realize until today that Firefly actually has a Rickenbacker-style Bass model!!!!! 😎 I wonder how much longer before they do a Rick-style guitar! 😎

Hey! I have that exact same guitar, and it's a ripper! SS frets, locking tuners, bone nut, abalone inlay markers, roasted maple neck that feels awesome, roasted mahogany body too if I recall correctly. Alnico V custom pickups. Sweet Tele style guitar for sure. I also have the 338, and Strat in the MGB finish, and they are all freaking awesome.

Man I regret not snagging this or the strat version in this finish. Maybe they’ll do another run. I did grab one of the newer green/purple chameleon strats and it’s phenomenal.

@@zuperdee True, but be warned it is NOT a Midnight Galaxy Black finish. The black isn't as dark of a black, and the sparkles are just plain silvery sparkles that in my humble opinion are way too dense on the guitar. I sent mine back. I was hoping to have another guitar in the MGB finish to go along with my Tele, Strat, and 338 model. Alas, it as not to be. The thing was really heavy as well.

@@Snarkyone1965 Interesting… What a pity! I bet if they brought back the MGB finish on an LP-style model, it would sell like hot cakes! As for the weight… Well, I guess we all know that truly authentic LP-style guitars tend to be heavy. 😂 That’s one reason I’ve shied away from getting an LP-style guitar so far, and stick with my Tele, Strat, and PRS-style clones from IYV. (Firefly did have their FFPR PRS-style models at one point, but have not brought them back since…)

sweet tele man! abaloni fretmarkers??? i just noticed that haha!!! am i right about the monoprice 15w tube amp not having a dedicated overdrive switch? as in ya gotta have "some" gain for it to even play...depending on how warm the pups are whether or not the amp "breaks up"....hope im correct on that...

@@birdman316 Yep!! It’s a great lil’ amp, and I still think one of the best values out there still for an all valve 15w combo…I pretty much keep mine in the 1W setting in the studio so I can get some drive from it without shaking the house down…😎

@@JimmyStewart1 there ya go...i keep mine on the 1w setting too... lotta ppl dont think a 15 watt amp is much....solidstate true but a 15watt tube amp is very giggable... the host of a blues nite at a grill and bar brought a pair of blues jrs...them lil buggers would about run you outta there lol!

@@birdman316 Oh yeah…no issue gigging with it for a smaller venue. Can always drop a SM57 on the cab and send the signal to FOH if needed as well. It will certainly keep up with a Blues JR too!
