Buy the rumour, sell the news. Bought at 29 and sold at 62. At one point, when the valuations become too crazy, you take profits and wait till it crashes and becomes a realistic investment again.

We all had the opportunity to take partial profits at 62. It's a tough lesson in a dog-eat-dog world. MSM will always misreport and mislead. We should know that by now.

Bloomberg and other news outlets messed up by saying it was going public with a 24b deal (double what was expected). It caused a massive sell off which then had fuel thrown onto it by the market crashing from news of interest rates. If they actually read the details they would know that the valuation actually comes out to 16b. The institutions that got into the stock for this deal had to pay a 50% premium ($15) over what many retailer investors paid ($10). I really think Lucid tried to do the right thing and a series of unfortunate events caused it to plummet. There was going to be a sell off regardless but not to this extent. Their tech is real, their factory is real, they have enough preorders to sell all the cars they're going to produce this year and a lot of people are really going to be frustrated they didn't get in at the massively discounted price that it's at now.

@@user-tj2vn2ki7t You're naive if you think it was a reporting mistake. They had to make sure someone was left holding the bag once their friends got in at a great price and dumped their shares. I do believe in the product itself, however. But their business practices leave much to be desired.

Lol, Lucid team had nothing to do with the sell off. It’s the same across the market. Hedge funds and us (shareholders) make the charts move. But Hedge funds make the charts really move and we follow. Big players and Hedge funds buy, sell, short, sell puts, etc. But shorts and inflation are what causes big drops on all charts. Apple is worth 2 trillion cause their stock. A lot of factors go into why their stock price and shares are what it is but at the end of the day, their stock is the company value. They want that value to keep soaring. But Hedge funds and deep pocket investors, thats where it gets complicated. Just think about how a lot of the market (example: NDX, QQQ, SPY, Apple, Microsoft, etc.) simultaneously sells off or gaps up. It ain’t cause all the company CEOs are all on the phone together and hit the sell or buy button at the same time. Or cause we shareholders are selling and buying all at the same time. H.F. and big investors have brokers and software that trades for them. Short positions and options are the main reason why it happens. They will always control the market. A trader or simple shareholder just needs to learn about Hedge Funds, Short positions, Options and the expiration fundamentals of those. And it will be a lot more clear and you’ll be ahead of the game. Oh, and human emotion, that’s the big kicker. We get caught up in the hype and Hedge Funds love that. Helps their short positions, lol.

@@mrnkognito this comment was made two weeks ago bro. And its referring to the leaks they made to the public regarding valuation but ultimately ended up with a much higher valuation than was leaked. Why do you think the price for CCIV went so high when it was thought to be valued at 12 - 15B?

Remember guys the Lucid Motors is going to be big in the upcoming years, just hold your CCIV stocks and don't let those suits to manipulate you by selling so they can buy cheaper. This company is undervalue at this point. When the first models are going to hit the market the CCIV is going to value 100$.

Congratulations to all Lucid employees and engineers in working to make this vehicle the best luxury EV of its time. Great work!

Would love to see diversity and vehicles available too not just a few models. Air looks absolutely beautiful. The stock trading debacle was a shame for retail investors but hopefully everything works out. I bet the team behind this marvels at exceeding in their craft to just improve even more their company and design. Super excited and hopefully to own more shares

@@markplott4820 they obviously have negative cash flow rn. they didn’t start delivering vehicles yet, and that’s definitely one of the outcomes, just like it was for tesla a couple of years ago. so no one can 100% say what will happen, but lucid is the 2nd closest thing to tesla rn(excluding nio because they are in china)

Car is beautiful and definitely way better looking than a tesla.

@@joshuacolon285 it's lacking for now. They mentioned that current models hardware will support autonomous driving and will be updated over the air when it's safe. Just like Tesla. It's tge technology that cannot be rushed. Better be safe than sorry.

its a beautiful company! Iam from germany , we are cars obviously but this is just stunning! Good Luck on taking the lead in technology moving forward. Cant wait to see the Air model in action myself.

Everyone hating at LUCID at the moment cause of the stock drop after the DA. People dont seem to understand their concept and the potential that the company has. A Luxury computer with wheels is the future vehicle that everyone wants. Of course there are plenty of companies coming everyday and only a dozen of them will be here in 5 to 10 years and Lucid will be one of them!!
