That elephant is amazing!
If you did this technique in greens in the background of a big colorful parrot it would look like jungle perfection!
Louise! You are just adorable. I love your demos and learn so much about different techniques from you. I think you are amazingly talented. Your bloopers make me laugh out loud. So glad to see you being just like us. Can’t wait to see more.
Bloopers are hilarious 😆, thank you 🙏

I love your art and your bloopers 😂
Love your work! Those giraffes 😍
I'm more fearful of trying to paint those beautiful giraffes, elephant, bird... than trying to do a background 😂 I think the background may be the only thing I could paint. Your work is absolutely beautiful.
Thank You kindly Teacher ....love your work

Working with plastic wrap is a blast. You can use your fingers to twist it into spirals, circles, leave it as triangles, pull it into straight streaks. So fun. Good video.
Louise this is absolutely beautiful. I love the softness of the colors you chose for the background and how it ties so lovely with the elephant. I've seen this technique so many times but nothing...absolutely nothing...compares to the way you've utilized it here in your stunning painting. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

The background gives the effect of foliage around the elephant. Very nice painting.
The elephant painting is amazing!

Love love looove your sense of humor to share your bloopers at the end. Thank you! It's a helpful reminder that it's okay to make mistakes. The take away for me on this video was how to share some of those Geometric shapes to get yet another different kind of background and appeal to the painting. I can't wait to try it!
Wow mind blowingingly beautiful. I’m currently painting a picture for my Brother & Sister in Law and this clingfilm technique will be a perfect background thanks for the instruction. The outtakes are hilarious thanks for those too.
Absolutely love your elephant painting! Great background tips! And your bloopers are so funny! Thanks for sharing Louise, I enjoyed this very much!
I've watched a lot of your videos, I think this is my favorite!! Not only do I see so many possibilities for this technique, but this elephant just speaks to me. I grew up in Thailand, love them to death! I understand their plight, seen it 1st hand. This is just a stunning representation of the gentle giant, love love love it ❤

Absolutely stunning. I love how the Saran Wrap gives the elephant his wrinkles. Beautiful
That was so inspiring! 💖
I look forward to seeing your giraffe painting using a cling film geometric shape background - I have already done this using acrylic paint and it was very successful.
Soo beautiful!!! I am totally delighted with that background, looks like butterflies/dragonflies wings geometries
I love this background too!!! I will definitely give it a try.
I had a good chuckle at the bloopers. You are very cute Louise. :-)

Thank you so much for all your videos ( and on Skillshare) your watercolours are stunning - and never stop the bloopers (you’re hilarious !) love every single tutorial, I’m learning so much. 🙏🏻
Louise I so could watch your videos for the rest of my life and never be tired of them! They are so inspiring and informative! I have been a watercolor artist for many years and have studied this Saran Wrap technique mixed with things such as salt, glass and lifting the wrap while it is wet and adding other colors and replacing the wrap. I love this technique and have taught it to many students in a classroom and I often used a hair dryer after 20 min.so that the kids could continue on their paintings the same day. Just sharing! And thank you so much💜
So beautiful! Tks, Louise!
It's beautiful. Many thanks for the tips.

omg.. learned from your tutorial and laughed at the bloopers. So cool!
Thank you
Thank you for the videos that you do! I love to follow along and try out new techniques!
Excellent and I love your bloopers
Whoo~ do I EVER struggle with backgrounds! They terrify me too, and I fret over spoiling a painting that I’ve spent a lot of time on, and as a result, don’t ‘take the plunge’; leaving the background white, or doing something ‘just because’ which leaves me underwhelmed. I think confidence with backgrounds will have to be acquired, and I can’t overlook that artists, like you Louise - have had a few more years of practice over me. However, watching how this technique works, and practicing with it a couple of times has given me a kick start to try it on my next painting of a cardinal. I think with the proper colors- and that is KEY- it could be lovely, and effective. Thanks Louise!
I love the end. What a lovely lady. 💕

Your elephant painting is amazing! Love the outcome with the Saran Wrap technique. I plan to paint an elephant later this year and I’m going to try this on mine. Love your bloopers at the end!🤣
Outtakes were wonderful to see! Thanks for your vulnerability
Thank you so much for the tutorial. Backgrounds have always been a thorn in my side so I just leave it white. I will definitely be trying this technique. I like the fact that you are using the same colours as the elephant.
This is soooo cool!!!!!❤❤
I just discovered this channel, but I got to say I love your voice, and I'm learning hlw to do watercolor right now, so your tips are very much appreciated! Thank you for this video!
Wonderful.....beautiful 💕. I will definitely give this a try. Thank you Louise and Happy Mother’s Day 🐘💐🌸🌷🌼🌹🌺🌞

Lovey! Thank you!
Your elephant is stunning Louise, I absolutely love it and like you although I occasionally do backgrounds, I fear them too:) Thank you again so much for all your amazing tutorials. I haven't been able to find the time to paint for quite awhile now as I am caring for my husband who has cancer. Your videos keep me inspired and hopefully will stop me from losing the skills I've worked so hard to learn over the years whilst I am unable to paint.🤗🌹😍
I have a series planned and that technique will fit in nicely. I once saw a great singing duro.

I love this! I hate doing backgrounds too!
As someone who really, REALLY struggle with backgrounds ideas, this is absolutely impressive and amazing ! I'll sure try it on my next piece, I might have a fine forest background effect (or so I hope). Anyway thanks for the tip! Bless your work and share.
I love your elephant painting! That background was perfect for it! Thank you for sharing how you do your plastic wrap technique. I've tried it before but didn't get great results, but I saw how you smooshed the plastic wrap around and think that I was being too gentle with it.
Watching your skills is very moving. Thank you!!
What a GREAT IDEA!!! You dear lady are AWESOME!!! Love your outtakes!
