A nontraditional journey: From clinical technologist to anesthesiologist assistant

This special guest speaker is one of the hardest working anesthesiologist assistants I know.
As a young mother of 3, working 80 hours a week while her partner also worked, her life changed when she came across one of the program directors while grabbing lunch.
After shadowing she found an incredible career fit in an unexpected area of medicine: anesthesia. Here’s pt 1 of her story. Follow for more!

Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist and CAA hopeful here 👋🏽(plus a curly girl with a similar complexion). I just want you both to know how aspirational this is, and that the representation *matters.* Thank you ❤

Pleasantly surprised you founded a former Med tech! ❣️ I have been looking into CAA, but am concerned bc as a MT, oftentime, we don't have patient interaction experience. Looking forward to the other parts of this story! 😁

Hello, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a specialty in Finance. Your CAA content has peaked my interest. How long would I have to go back to school considering my Bachelor’s is not medical related? Would it be a smooth transition into medical from business? Thank you so much!
