Hey, Alexis! Great question. As a native NYer I whole heartedly want to see this profession expand into every state. That is part of the reason why I started this channel. In addition, I donate to the legislative fund in order to support the lobbyists who work towards advancing AA into more states. Advancing this profession requires financial support. Last year AAs raised 50k to support legislative efforts. There is ongoing lobbying that will take place in 2024. This is the link to donate: paylink.paytrace.com/Payment Lastly, I know of more than one CAA from Tennessee and they work in Georgia! I hope I answered your question :)

Hello are there any liability issues in this field? Thanks :)
technically with the amount of flexibility you have, like only having to work 2 days a week (or maybe even less), you can get another job with other skills you have right? would that be possible? if so that sounds actually very exciting

Why wouldn’t they just offer this to pharmacists instead. Doesn’t make sense
@CAALifestyle

This job is very procedure heavy and the training focuses on both pharmacology and physiology and the many procedures CAAs do. Pharmacists have very different training but can apply and grow through AA school in order to do the same work.

What’s the alternative you suggest? I have stayed hours past my shift in high acuity cases and have followed up with patients beyond their pacu stay (including months after). I also believe in time off to reset as it helps me to continue to deliver great care for every patient.
