Its the only group where I dont have a clear bias. Its usually a different member every month between the japanese line (sana, momo, mina) but lately Jihyo and Tzuyu has been hitting different so I dont have a full time bias with this group. Just "bias of the month"

Jihyo is WIDELY respected across all fandoms as one of the BEST performers in kpop.

The 2023 updated "Who Is TWICE? (A Dive into the Living Legends)" may explain Mina & Jeongyeon's hiatus a bit better if you want to check em out sometime, Mina's hiatus was mid 2019 and Jeongyeon's was mid 2020 and almost throughout 2021 due to anxiety and to heal on their respective inujries (Mina her ankle, Jeongyeon her neck)

Momo grew up speaking in Kansai dialect. However, the Japanese members are encouraged to speak in standard Japanese whenever they make public appearances and promotions in Japan.

cant wait for part 2! also to answer your question, Momo struggles with speaking **standard** japanese and speaks japanese in the kansai dialect so that's why she glitches when speaking in standard japanese 😭😭 also yes, sana is very crazy and reeks havoc upon twiceland on a daily basis (the clips shown from that guide were from their 4th world tour, however there are even crazier sana clips from their 5th world tour that is still ongoing and started after this guide was made!)

Yes, the momo is the one who was dancing at the rocks in the I got you mv. Also, about the sana clip, bro, it's twice lol. They pretty much don't care and do whatever they want 😂 chaeyoung even cut her hair and got tattoos against company policies. They know they ain't gonna get rid of em until they disband. 😅

the guide is not really good at providing context for some of the members, so here's some things to clarify: Nayeon - Born in 1995 (NOT 1996 according to the guide) - MC Rail is her rapping alter ego, she doesn't have a rap position but is a very good rapper Jeongyeon - went on a hiatus due to her neck injury and a second hiatus due to mental health - she's both the mother but also the biggest prankster of the group Momo - Is indeed Japanese but since she has lived in Korea for most of her career, her japanese became a bit rusty (her father even said he's worried about Momo's japanese literacy 😂) - part of misaMO (the japanese sub-unit Sana - shy shy shy is a part of their song "Cheer Up" which is the song that marked their biggest success into their career and launched them into being Korea's National Girlgroup - part of miSAmo (the japanese sub-unit) Jihyo - the second member to have a solo

I'm a ONCE so I'm not here to argue but just to correct a mistake that is quite common. Jeongyeon NEVER went on hiatus, your first statement about her is true she hoped that rest would ease her neck pain, when she came back you could see it didn't help because she did all performances sitting down because she was still in pain. The second time she did what she should have done the first time she had NECK SURGERY and still came back in less than a year and as good as ever. Jeongyeon is Twice's rock upon which they all stand she has never been weak minded that's a LIE that JYP wants you to believe. Yes she is my bias but that doesn't change the truth even Jiyho and Dahyun and especially Nayeon come to Jeongyeon for needed support. OT9 forever.

crown isn't jihyo's solo, it's a major melody project (what twice has named their covers) and her dancing skills and stage presence were really showcased there. she's not in the dance line but is the second best dancer after momo and has the best stage presence in twice. she's always been a great dancer but she also improved a lot during the first few years and is finally notably more in the front area during dance breaks (momo center). BUT Jihyo does have a solo and it came out last august called "killin me good" and released performances and a dance practice for the bside "closer" which both really showcase her dance and stage presence. her entire album is super good and less kpop-y, it feels so unique to her and every song is super good. and of course, the vocals NEVER MISS.

To answer your question, my bias came at me when I listened and watched my first twice song (had to google image search who the beautiful woman was with the headphones on the what is love video that made my heart stop). Mina's been my ult bias in all of kpop ever since. That said I understand the struggle of choosing a Twice bias, every member is uniquely charismatic, all the members are are a potential bias if they were each in a different group (which I hope doesn't happen, love them together too much)

Momo is indeed Japanese but since she has been in Korea for a good 10 years now, she may struggle to go back and forth with her native tongue at times 🥰And the number of albums on the guide may need some update now to 20 albums as it didn't include the latest Ready To Be album and the upcoming With YOU-th album this Friday, Feb. 23 (Title Track - One Spark) Also, their Leader Jihyo and the Japanese Line MiSaMo (Mina Sana Momo) debut as a solo and a sub-unit last year.

Welcome to Twiceland a place where serotonin is the drug of preference and smiling is what you can't avoid doing. Now if your like most reactors you'll just watch the M/V's but that's ok they have over 40 of them so it will keep you busy for awhile but if you want to truly enjoy the magic of these 9 beautiful women you need to check out the B-sides but that's over 200 songs. Don't look into Twice most of what you'll hear is well to be nice inaccurate. You know all you need to know they have already made you smile with what little you've seen and THAT is all you need to know. Jeongyeon and Mina (as you will discover) did take time off but not a Hiatus, which I describe as time away from being an Idol because you can't handle the pressure of being an Idol. The red string of fate didn't just bind them as soulmates but more as a single symbiotic unit so to affect one would be affecting all, no outside force or forces can affect them only internal issues would be able to do that which is what happened but it just took time to sort it out. Jeongyeon a neck injury which required surgery and Mina, in my opinion, Sharon (you'll learn about her later). So enjoy the trip, the view and the noises of Twiceland and ONCE's will come we love watching the birth of a baby ONCE, your just in time for ANOTHER Twice come back as well. OT9 forever (this is a promise that Twice made us ONCE's that they would remain a 9 member group always, I got you proved that).

Some of the rules I realized as Once since 2016: 1, Jihyo is the power leader and when she “Shhhhh” everyone must be silent, me too 😅. 2, Rule “No Sana no life!” 3, Don't challenge Mina when she turns into Sharon mode. 4, all 9 girls are beautiful. 5, Mina and Chae are the best match! 6, Don't forget Momo can rap too! 7, I advise you not to Bias anyone because then you will realize that you are OT9 without realizing it! so stupid ! 8, Don't ask: "Why are they so adorable?" Because you will have to spend your whole life looking for the answer! 9, Can you hide the camera from Dahyun's sight ? 10, To me, Tzuyu is the prettiest in the Kpop universe. Lucky for you, Dear !

Momo ain't weird. Maybe YOU the weird one. And bacon in Korea is not like bacon in the states. It's more like ham or Canadien bacon so it's perfectly fine to eat uncooked. Momo is perfect and so is her sneeze and unecessarily loud screams.

The reason Momo can't speak Japanese well is because she uses Kansai dialect on a daily basis. I'm told not to use that dialect in public, so I am correcting it here.

Momo speaks and reads the Kansai dialect and she was trying to read Standard Japanese. That’s where the confusion came in.

Maybe don’t call them the “jap line”… that word has a bad connotation for Japanese Americans (it’s what Japanese Americans were referred to as when they were put into internment camps during WWII) just saying J-line works too 😊
