They do seem to be very fun and friendly.

Jeongyeon had a herniated disc in her neck and then attempted to return to the group before it had completely healed. She suffered from anxiety as a result and was on hiatus from publicly performing with the group while she got better. She still participated in recording but you will notice her absence in the choreo from the music videos during her hiatus. Mina also had a hiatus from the group between “Fancy” and “Feel Special” when she was suffering from anxiety attacks during their live performances.

Thank you for that info. Herniated disc in the neck is very troublesome and painful. Good thing she took the time off and could return after healing. Its always sad to hear of the anxiety attacks. It all just becomes too much sometimes. I'm glad they fought through and came back.

My first Kpop was BlackPink Coachella but when I saw TWICE’s Music Bank in Chile and in HongKong, Dahyun’s Piano Covers, and TIME TO TWICE, I never stanned any other group. These girls are so rare and authentic!

The way you see them in interviews and shows is the way they are in person. Twice has always been praised for being a humble and kind hearted group, different venue staffs have attested to this. And they work so hard too! The amount of hate they get is insane, but Twice is a solid Kpop group and they're all beautiful ❤️

@@NeonReactionsPierre In the beginning many people questioned their talent, the foreign members used to (and still do) get hate for being, well, foreign. Tzuyu got absolutely shredded online when she was 16, a child, for waving her country's flag (but that's getting too political). The Japanese members got a lot of hate for speaking Japanese in their vlives. Jihyo used to get body shamed for "being too fat", now Jungyeon is going through it 😔💔 Twice has improved so much over the years, like fine wine, and Once know better than anyone that they no longer need to prove their worth. Nowadays we just appreciate how hard they work for us, their schedules are insane and they do it all for us. I forget which comeback it was, but they had a back to back comeback, and literally learned an entire choreo in the span of about three days, all while filming the music video for it. Legends 🙌 The hate they get now is from being compared to other groups. They're constantly being brought down by other fandoms, mostly one in particular but as to not cause any problems I won't name them, in the comment sections. It's even worse on Twitter. It seems like they get hate simply for existing. They're very close to Once, so I just know they see the ridiculous rumors and comments about them, they don't deserve it 😔

​@@tabbidiaz9916 Hate between fandoms is the most stupidest thing. And it is very childish. As for the weight "issues" - the kpop industry is somewhat broken when it comes to that. I mean everybody has his her preferences but there is nobody in the kpop industry that is obviously overweight in an unhealthy manner. And I really mean in a medical sense. There is no kpop Lizzo. She might say and think she's healthy and beautiful and tells the world that it is ok but the weight will come with its health problems in future years for her. Each to his/her own. But in kpop its the too skinny part that is unhealthy sometimes. Both extremes are not good. But shaming on them for being a bit "more" is stupid. If I look at the struggle Chaeryoung of Itzy had. The constant hate she got because of her yoyo-ing in weight. Stupid. She was fine then and she is fine now - in my eyes.

Especially since majority of idols of the same age range are friends 💀 even between the male and female idols, but we would never know because they keep it so private (it's sad that they even have to in the first place). I would be happy as long as the idols were healthy, I mean in between schedules and performances, what more diet regiments do they need? Shindong from Super Junior was the first + size Kpop idol I had ever seen (First kpop group I had been introduced to in general). Granted back then, the international kpop community was nearly non existent on any social media platforms, in my naivety, I thought it was very progressive of them. Then I saw the ridiculous standards netizens and companies put on their idols. They want them to be like dolls, and when they start acting like human beings (losing or putting on weight, dating, coming out of their "image"), they lose it. Like Momo, she had to burn a certain amount of calories by a deadline but was unable to reach it. So they gave her a week to lose it and for an entire week she survived on eating ice cubes. Like, what?? She said she was so scared to go to sleep because she thought she was going to die. Insane.

The more you learn about Twice, You will realize that they all have their own shine, It's hard to stick to one Bias in Twice, For example when I watch their MV I really like Nayeon, Tzuyu & Mina, But when it comes to live performances I like Momo, Jihyo and Sana, And when I watch reality shows, I really like the personalities of Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung & Dahyun, And in the end I realized that I love them all

One thing I’ve heard for why sana is so affectionate is because she’s the only member without any siblings and now has 8 sisters who she really loves and can hug and kiss as much as she wants

Just as JYP (Park Jinyoung) has said when he created this group, it is best to enjoy TWICE, "Once thru the ears, Once thru the Eyes". Be charmed by their music and their visual charms (hence their name TWICE) - the girls will indeed charm their audiences Twice 🥰 - Included in the number of albums on the guide are 3 Full Korean albums with 9 to 13 songs each, a mini album may contain 6 to 7 tracks. 2 have been repackaged i believe.

Ok, so my ears have been "onced" for a few years now - now lets get the eyes all onced up hahaha

Lines are rarely evenly distributed, but each members has their moment to shine (with their own strengths) for example; Momo is the main dancer, so even though in some songs she doesnt get that many lines maybe in that same song there is a dance break where she is the center of. So little things like that :)

I'm very thankful that you are taking the time to get to now this group of wonderful people, Twice has been around for some time now, they all started in their mid to late teens so their music will reflect that , meaning earlier music was vibrant, colorful . uplifting and energetic, now as they got older they were able to transition their sound to a more mature concept and style, still maintaining their Twice sound. the Japanese tracks are fairly different from the Korean tracks but like I said they always maintain their sound which is always a hit , and as far as line distribution goes they all sing in all of their songs but Jihyo, Nayeon, and Jungyeon, tend to sing more because the fact that they have tho most powerful voices, none the less when the girls write their songs they will choose who sings what parts knowing whats best for the group without any jealousy hence why they are so great, they are a family now and have become sisters, so they have never had any fights or animosity towards each other. they all support each other and that is why they keep getting better. They have a magic that will make you happy with their music and their personalities. I recommend watching the MV's from the beginning as well as their Time To Twice program here on KZread its safe to react to also, just check out both their channels Twice and Twice Japan. I've been stanning them since 2017 and never looked back I have been lucky enough to attend that past 2 concerts this year and last years, seriously the best concerts you could see. and when they have their concerts they will wear a wardrobe to go with most of the songs but usually from what i have seen usually the last hour of the concert they wear what they want, the 2 concerts I attended both lasted at least 3 hours. these girls are the hardest working girls especially when it comes to giving the fans the most content you can see , we are truly spoiled by these girls, I love them , thank you for your reaction it was great keep'em coming !

The impressive thing is the rappers don't just write the raps, they actually write or co-write entire songs too. As for line distribution it can vary but typically Jihyo and Nayeon get the most lines then there's 1 or 2 that get the most (changes per song between the rest of the members) then the rest are about even (except usually Momo, she usually gets the least lines this is often thought to be due to her getting the main dance moments, though it may be because she's the weakest vocally too).

Lee jung was inspired because of twice. She's also one of the main chorepgrapher for twice rn. Momo has a lot of friends in the dance scene. From just jerk, 1million, and even YGx. She's close with lee jung

The members have melody projects, covers. You briefly saw Jihyo, Chaeyoung, Mina, and Tzuyun's in the video. There's a video of Momo's performance (where she dances in a red outfit)..and yes, each member wrote a song on the MISAMO album..

I'm sorry if I'm writing to much, I can't edit my other comments for some reason. The line distribution, if I'm being honest, not the most fair among groups lol. Jihyo and Nayeon are almost always on top since they are considered to have the best voicea, but all the members sing very well. As for Chaeyoung, she does cover her tattoos in Korea but she doesn't really care about it in America, her outfits here display her tattoos way more than in SK. Tzuyu is pronounced "chewy" which I'm pretty sure is one of the most unique names among idols because she's taiwanese. The clips where you see them all toguether and playing games, are either from "time to twice" a reality show where they do different stuff (murder mystery, high school, scare house, or just them chilling and going on vacations lol) or "twice date" where 2 members go out on a date lol. I see you also like the melody projects, there's one for almost every member and they aren't really that long so I recommend you watch em. Twice is truly an amazing group with a lot of good content and talented people, I wish I would have met them sooner too lol

Momo struggle in Japanese is funny because she is japanese. :D about line distribution, for me, the 'part' select by the producer which depend on who delivery that part of the song the best, so, in (every) one song to distribute everyone the same amount of line might not be a good idea. (same thing with 'painting', think about 9 colors all equally in one painting.) so for me, same amount of line to everyone is something that should not do.(i'm understand that fan might consider about 'spotlight' but if think about 'music creator' that's not their priority, but should be 'agency' that try to make that position share equally as all members are equally their asset.) the original of Jihyo's performance project is 'Camila Cabello & Grey - Crown (from Bright: The Album)' Mina AKA 'penguin' because the way she walk. :) too cute. :D it's korea broadcast rule to cover 'tattoo' during broadcast. ('kang gary' also cover his tattoo on 'running man') Jihyo's solo 'zone' come in Aug. (but, after i got fool by 'our youth', 'zone' still not sure be the name. :D) anyway, have a good day. :)

Some additional interesting facts: Nayeon is a really talented dancer, especially if you consider, that one of her legs is damaged, because of a car accident from the past, which caused her to sometimes to lose balance. The Song "Feel Special" was a song, that JYP wrote, after seeing how supportive the other members were, when Sana was going through a lot of hate. So to show his support, he wrote this song for her, to show her, that shes beloved. Also, in the Like Ooh-Ahh MV, when they leave the bus, Sana falls. This wasnt planned for the MV at all, but since it looked so cute, it was included in it. Jeongyeon was suffering from mental health problems. Thats why she took a hiatus for a certain time, in which she also had to take medications, which lead to her being hated (unreasonably) for gaining weight. Jihyo is a big fan of going to the GYM. She especially loves doing weight training. Momo was initially eliminated from Sixteen, but after she improved a lot, and gained a lot of love from fans, JYP choose to debut her, because especially her dance talent stands out (With Lisa the best 3rd gen Dancer) Mina is a big fan of staying home. She once said, she only goes out, if she has to. She also loves Legos and Gaming. She was actually born in Texas, and her American birth Name is Sharon. Dahyuns nickname is Tofu/Dubu. The reason is her super fair skin, which resembles the color of Tofu. Chaeyoung is super artistic. She's also friends with BLACKPINKs Rosé and Jeon Somi. Tzuyu is actually the firts female idol ever from Taiwan. She also flew back to Taiwan, to take her middle school graduation exam and signed the Desk.

Jihyo is definitely my bias finding out that she is motherly and affectionate to every member is a plus. Then to top it all off, she has a great friendship with Lisa (Blackpink) and Somi among others. Also her dad humor is a plus!!! She has also overcome 10 years of being a trainee at JYP then ridiculed for being fat while on Sixteen. Jihyo has alot of inner strength and she doesnt give up on her dreams. Her nickname of God-Jihyo is fitting because she puts in 110% effort. Sorry got a bit into detail when describing Jihyo. All members of Twice are great. I had the hardest time telling Sana and Mina apart at first but now I can tell by their signature hair color and style. Plus, if you get a close up shot of Mina you will notice she has a beauty mark (mole) on her nose bridge. Sana usually has blonde/brownish hi-lights in her hair.

This i know about their writing lirik is. they write lirik and give it to their produser to produce became song but they chose line distribution.. and sometime jyp give bunch of song with theme and ask if member want to write lirik for it and they wrote lirik for the song example for Taste of Love EP they wrote all the song from this album but company gift theme for song they write but they wrote whole song..

Hello my fellow German. Just stumbled across your channel. I have to warn you, Twice will definitely won’t let you go, after you begin a deep dive into their career. I think in one of the last episodes of the survival show "sixteen", JYP, then still the CEO of JYPE, told them to always be themselves. To never fake an image. I think they took that to heart and after watching a lot of videos of them, I never once got the feeling they were disingenuous. For example Momo and Nayeon still live together, even though their company would allow them to live separately and wherever. Now some recommendations on what to watch for Twice content: - All melody and performance projects. (Jihyos Crown/ Momos dance in the red costume) -All Time to Twice episodes. (Its basically a gaming/acting show tailored to the Members. It includes a mystery crime show, a zobie survival show and more.) Special recommendation for Dahyun: She is the MC of the group, she gets cast the most to host third party shows and she usually shines there the most, because she is such a goofball.

Twice already have 19 Koream Album and they will be releasing another Full album this October for their 8th Anniversary plus Jihyo Solo Debut Album this august. They have 2 English single released, 10 Japanese single albums, 4 Japanese Full-length albums, and 4 Special japanese albums (its a mini albums consisting of their korean title tracks in Japanese versions). Outside of their discography they have also released songs for Japanese and Korean Dramas and movies and music for a Game titled "I'll show you" for K/DA 1st mini album (LEAGUE OF LEGENDS kpop group) Also Misamo will be releasing a debut mini album this July including songs that written by each of them. TWICE have a lot of songs with different genres, different styles you will love them. TWICE is the most controversial Girl group even they not debuting yet until now. From different kinds of backlash, dating rumors, plagerism and copying allegations, from promoting their songs by being a staff in mcdonals, promoting their songs on the streets, hospitals, and schools. 52:53 yes she has to cover them on pretty much any family program which includes music stages, certain variety shows, even in some official twice content they blur out her tattoos especially when she first got them. Either she will wear long sleeves or wear skin colored tape/bandages to hide them. All idols with tattoos do this

Jeongyeon has had issue with neck since debut which completely worsened after more and more song era. She did go hospital many time throughout career but it was always clean. Until after more and more she went to specialist and they found the issue and suggested surgery plus complete rest (she still participated in concert and performance by sitting throughout that and while going for injection to neck post surgery too) untill she now got lot of hate comments and it also took toll on her mental health so she had to completely focus on health and mentally healing back. So she went in hiatus.

they don't have even line distributions, Momo being the main dancer is barely given lyrics most of the time, and the main and lead vocals (Jihyo and Nayeon) always sings the chorus, what's even more confusing is that Jeongyeon, a lead vocalist, would sometimes get little to no lines at all due to unfair producers favoring other members.

Here some extra explanations and some context for you in German: Jeonyeon hatte/hat wohl eine Angststörung oder Depressionen und fiel daher für einige Zeit aus. Als sie in die Gruppe zurückgekehrte wurde sie im Internet angefeindet, weil sie durch die Medikamente sehr zugenommen hatte und nicht mehr dem Schönheitsideal entsprach. Sie hat mittlerweile wieder einen "normalen Körper", der neben den sehr schlanken und durchtrainierten Mitgliedern von Twice natürlich weiterhin auffällt, was aber als sehr positiv aufgefasst wird, da der Schlankheitswahn von Kpop dadurch etwas relativiert wird. Die anderen Mitglieder von Twice unterstützen sie aber durchgehend so gut es geht. Es gibt einige Videos von Konzerten in denen sie zittert und von Jihyo beruhigt wird. Bzw. ihren ersten Live-Auftritt bei dem sie nicht in die Kamera schaut sondern nur in Jihyos Augen, die sie durch den Auftritt führt, was ich sehr bewegend fand. Sana ist laut MBTI, was in K-POP Kreisen sehr ernst genommen wird :D, das einzige Extrovertierte Mitglied. Jihyos MBTI hat sich erst vor kurzem zu Extrovertiert gewandelt. Minas "alter ego" ist Sharon. Das ist ihr englischer Name. Gerade in Amerikanischen Konzerten zeigt sie häufig eine etwas provokante und "sexy" Seite von sich. Fans sagen dann häufig das sei nicht Mina sondern Sharon. Dazu das Vergleichsvideo "Rollin in Korea vs. US" schauen oder ihre solo stage der gerade laufenden Tour. Momo spricht, anders als Mina und Sana, einen japanischen Dialekt. Trotzdem soll sie häufig in Interviews "Hoch-Japanisch oder Standard Japanisch" sprechen, was zu unterhaltsamen Sprachaussetzern führt. Tzuyu kommt aus Taiwan. Sie spricht das schlechteste Koreanisch in der Gruppe, was auch der Grund sein dürfte, warum sie so wenig Songtexte geschrieben hat. Außerdem ist sie mindestens so Introvertiert wie Mina. I'm not into K-pop. But I like twice. Tried checking out other groups, but they're not the same. I like some BTS (the song Dynamite), New jeans is also fun. But out of all other girl groups, Twice's songs hit differently. And don't get me started on black pink, they're not comparable to me.

I started getting deeper into kpop with Blackpink and Dreamcatcher back in 2016. Those were the ones I also followed on KZread video and vlog-wise. Twice had good music but I never watched their stuff. Just listened to it. So this is very cool to see the twice girls in a different light.

few tidbits that arent in the guide: "3mix" Vocal line (Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Nayeon) have been bestfriends since predebut, their dynamic is always roasting and teasing each other. "MiSaMo" Japanese line (Mina, Sana, Momo) have also been close ever since predebut, Sana and Momo met at the airport in Japan going to Korea and they have been inseparable ever since. "School Meal Club" maknae line (Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu) - they're called SMC because they were minors when they debuted and so they go to school together in their uniforms while the rest of the unnies help them in their homeworks and pack their lunches. Theyre also very close. Right now, the lines are blurred because theyre all extremely close to each other now. Musically they are amazing but i guess for me what sets them apart from the rest is really their relationship with other, you can see how comfortable and affectionate they are. but as you get to know their journey, you also realize how many troubles they've overcomed together. even if it involves just one member, they resolve it as a team. Thats why its no wonder all of them renewed their contract last year to stay together for longer. AND DAMN THEYRE ACTIVE, NO OTHER GG IS DOING IT LIKE THEM IN THEIR 8TH YEAR. they work hard and give back to fans like theyre rookies, very generous. they deserve all the success theyre getting
