I was a Guns'N Roses fan when I was young, I used to listen to Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Metallica, now I'm a Twice fan :)) I knew that Kpop was loved, but I never thought I would love it too, everything started with "I Cant Stop Me" and One day I decided to listen to the album called "Eyes Wide Open".. I don't remember what happened next :)) Today, Twice songs took over 90% of my entire playlist.. TMI: I loved this video. If it was possible for me to choose the songs, my set list would be very different. Twice discography is very wide and very colorful.

Nayeon already said on the „Bubble“ App that they she would like to do a Part 2 :D Also mentioned that it was hard to decide which songs to include or not because they didn’t want to leave anything out. Regarding songs to react to from this Killing Voice, Feel Special is a very precious song to Twice themselves and also to the fandom, because of the meaning behind the Lyrics. Also Likey is a very universal loved song, that even most non Onces like. Another option would be to check out Nayeons Solo Debut Song POP!

Twice is my ult group also and this is coming from a guy who pre pandemic didn't know a thing about Kpop. BP and BTS introduced me, Twice got me hooked on them and I haven't looked back

Seeing new ONCEs react to this is so precious. Seeing you go down the same path of loving each and every single one of them is just the most precious thing in the world.

I had to watch it for myself first but here I am now! As someone who's been following Twice mainly through another reactor and watching their formation and debut through today... I can understand the teary eyes, I had the same reaction, the songs bring so much nostalgia and memories (plus I Got You and One Spark are borderline happy sad songs, a sort of thanks to the fandom). It's beautiful to see how they've grown and matured, even in terms of sound when you compare how they sounded back then and nowadays on old songs. Like in all the KV, I feel like they could've gone for so long but after nearly a decade, they've had so many epic songs that they could probably do two 2 or 3 KVs easily.

I am loving these twice reaction, gotten into k-pop for about 2-3ish years now they are my girl group ults and always cheer me up with joyful music🥰, any twice context like time to twice or any behind the scenes are so fun to watch they are so funny and their interactions with each other (you can see a little in the killing voice) are so fun and lovely❤️

dont worry bout the crying, I am a 46 year old Once since the beginning, they helped me through my big depression in life (with KS toughts) and I still cry from time to time with them, and I cried when I saw them in France in concert.

I also sobbed a bit during I Got You and One Spark. Not sure why but something about those songs is just so sentimental. I pretty much only listen to like super noisy shoegazing/noise-pop/indie music but a lot of its so depressing. When I want to feel happy, I listen to TWICE. They're just so cute.

So glad to see you react to my girls again!! I haven’t had a chance to watch any other reactions to KV yet but yours was my first stop to watch! Thanks so much for checking it out so quickly! This definitely gave you a good sample across their discography from early twice til now. A few notable absences were a bummer (no I can’t stop me! Or cry for me! Or talk that talk!) but they honestly have sooo many songs that they’d definitely have to do a part 2 to cover the title tracks at the very least Based on your reactions I think I’d recommend the following: - Likey (had that cool rap section with Chaeyoung and Dahyun you liked) - TT (one of the less sugary sweet early twice songs) - Yes or Yes (you seemed to enjoy the vibes) - Fancy (the true turning point for twice and pink haired Chaeyoung in a lime green patterned body suit… you will see) - Feel Special (incredibly important song to once and twice alike with meaningful lyrics, plus you liked dahyun’s rap verse!) - moonlight sunrise (I think you’d like this one a lot, it’s more r&b sultry twice, with chae killing the rap verse) Anyways those are my recommendations for you! I have a few more but they weren’t included in KV so I’ll save those for later! 😂 But I’m excited to watch you continue your twice journey! I hope you know that us once will join you wherever you go as you’ve shown sincere appreciation and respect towards our faves and that means a lot. Thanks again for this reaction! ❤️

Tzuyu was actually quiet for 3 songs in a row because her parts of the song are cut out due to how they structured this performance, from what I can tell, Jeongyeon's parts are more prevelant on the second half of this performance. Mina's parts also slowly disappeared after Yes or Yes 😅

Thanks for your reaction! Twice definitely bring out the emotions. I definitely recommend "More and More" although you need to get into their b-sides as well. "Icon" may have Chaeyoung's best rap, and "Hello" features Chae, Momo, and Nayeon rapping!

I still remember back in 2021... I came across Alcohol Free Relay Dance on my FB News Feeds. I just got curious and watched it. Im not a big music guy nor even a K-pop fan. Saw it once, and just like that, I became a Once! I also noticed that I was smiling the whole time while watching 😊. Dubu and Jihyo were the ones who caught my eye. I still remember asking my sister, who's a BTS Army, what their names were 😂. They were my first biases and then got wrecked by Mina, and after seeing them on Tour, I got wrecked again by Sana! 😊. Nayeon and Tzuyu wrecked me again on this Killing Voice performance! 😅 'I Got You' also gave me nostalgic memories from their humble beginnings that I dont have to begin with 😂. How many of these songs were brand new to you? I can’t imagine getting hit with a potion of the discography like that. Please tell us who you thought was tall or short. I have that same reaction when different groups are all next to each other and my internal scale was way off. I agree the slight choreo at the mic stand on many Killing Voices is still pretty fun. Watching members and introduce themselves on variety shows a few times always helped me get the pronunciation right from the person.

In response to line distribution, Twice originally was meant to be more of a Teen Crush group and in the first 2 mini albums, it's very apparent, but when Cheer Up blew up and the more girly cutesy bubble pop was what was the public was wanting, their songs moved in that direction. Nayeon has that overall Twice sound, Jihyo is the power, Sana, Mina, Tzuyu's the brighter support, Jeongyeon's the fuller support, Dahyun, Chaeyeong's the rap and Momo's floats between higher/ lower support and rap. Particularly for Jeongyeon, you don't hear her voice that much because most title tracks are brighter which is why you tend to get her in the final chorus paired up with Jihyo/Nayeon's high notes and ad-libs. In the first 2 mini albums, before the shift, her voice was everywhere.

I'm not going to lie, really like Twice and they have been very successful but, up and coming acts are sweeping them aside to bring in the new. In my humble opinion, XG are going to be the new benchmark in terms of talent and reaching out to a wider audience. My problem with K-POP is that the genre is tied to the Korean market and it as good as it is, the lack of English versions of K-POP tracks restricts it from a much wider profitable market. It would be good to discuss this issue. Anyway, great upload.

I think I understand what you're saying about English restricting which markets they expand to, it's unfortunate but true, people here are more likely to listen to English songs. But TWICE seems to be able to do some of that if they want, and I am a full ALPHAZ so I think XG is going to do huge things, but they have a very different style which may be more catered to western audiences. I do think KPop is trending towards a global approach though!

A huge following from a domestic audience and they have released some absolute anthems. The issue is, those anthems are sung in Korean and thus limiting a wider reach to English speaking countries. Ask any 20 to 30 year old listener of music in the western world if they have heard of Red Velvet. A majority answer would be no. The thing is, a majority of Red Velvets tracks are produced by western producers. A-Pink are a group I have been following for many years as with G-IDLE. The market for K-POP is niche and in my humble opinion, they would be far more successful reaching out to the wider world.

I sorta agree, but not fully. For one, no group (other than BP) is even CLOSE to Twice in terms of pure success. XG couldn't do a solo tour right now, not to mention a STADIUM TOUR. Twice has a global fandom that is unrivaled. New Jeans is the most popular 4th gen act and even they aren't big enough to carry a tour yet. Besides, Twice does have lots of English songs- their pre release song was full English just as an example. But, I also don't want kpop to lose its heart JUST to sell more records. Like no offense, but I don't like the groups that are fully westernized. They have nothing original or unique about them anymore imo.

It only really depends on what the western populace is willing to accept into their daily lives. Latin music is huge in the west because of the Latin integration into North America. Japanese music is on the slow rise as anime has finally stopped being niche and is becoming more widely accepted. Modern Kpop is only about 30 years old so it's still relatively new in the eyes of the west. It's still super niche. Kpop doesn't have to become westernized to be popular, the west needs to accept Kpop for how popular it is.

I know not everyone will like every group so that's totally cool but you can share your opinion respectfully. There are ONCEs watching that I would also ask to be respectful of your favorite group, I want this to be a safe space for everyone.
