I'm sitting in a Villa in the hills with gorgeous views to the sea at 24, 1 year and a half ago when I discovered this guy I was hooked up on drugs (xtc, coke, LSD...), living with my mama, chunky af and with zero self esteem. All this literally because of him, I have a big tattoo across my chest, from shoulder to shoulder, that says: puprpose over pleasure. Everyday I hit my workout, I go run around the hills, or hitting the bag in my top terrace watching the landscape, grinding hard on my business endeavuors every day... The program is everything.

Honestly man. Speaking things into existence completely changed my life. Even if you don’t truly believe what you’re saying at first, the more you say it, the more you’ll believe it because it’ll become a part of your daily routine and things will start to manifest themselves. I do it while I’m driving to work in the morning sitting in traffic.

Wow this was a great podcast! Made the time fly on my 5 mile walk. It's 100% true that we are living in an excuse based participation trophy culture. No one wants to sacrifice or put in the work. My first client is at 6am. One morning at 5am it was nearly sub 30 in CA which is beyond freezing anywhere else. But I was at the park doing sets of pullups and hill sprints in a tank top and shorts for an hour. At one point it was so cold, I had to check to make sure I could still open my hands. LOL She arrives and says "This is why you're my trainer." That made my day especially since I'm 41. My clients always see that I live the life and that's why they stick with me. Meanwhile I'll see fat trainers on their phones not even interacting with their clients. It's pathetic. 👎

Wes is a good guy, he changed so many lives for the better. But with self-improvement, you have to toss in some unconditional self-love.
