This makes a lot of sense to me. By having paint mixed and ready, my spontaneous, emotional and inspirational actions are not slowed down by the task of mixing paint. 👍🏻

Thank you for the tip about putting mineral spirits on top of the paints. I have found I'll often not mix up enough because I didn't want to have a bunch left over that dries up. Then I end up trying to match it, and you know how that goes. 🙃

Keeping yogurt containers with the lids on would eliminate the evaporation. You can put a bit of the paint on the lid to know which colours are in.

Do the same... Just put a lid on it. I have found mine will last several days with the lid on it. Deli containers work great and they usually come with lids.

Thank you Nick! So this is oil paint or acrylic? So I can do this with acrylic as well? So if I paint with acrylic and have more paint then I need it what is the name of product I need to buy for not dry? If I close the top will dry? The idea is very nice to see the colors. I agreed. Is more powerful. But not sure if I understood how to not loose the color was left in the bucket. How to not be dry? Thanks for sharing .🙏

I use deli containers and they come with lids and the paint will stay wet several days. But if you want you can buy FloTrol in the paint department at Menards or Lowe's. It is a paint extender and keeps it wet longer.

PS he said it was oil that he was working with. I work with acrylic.
