Well for the first time I am seeing landscape, a water pool, a handbag …. Lots of things… maybe the space/size allows for easier discoveries.

leave it - nothing is resolved now- no need to put black up on the right - how about breaking that rule? because you are NW, it'll sell; if someone else did it - it probably wouldn't:) this is because you've done the hard work over the decades to get your name out there! no easy to do!

Nick and Adam, Thank you. I am new to the Art2Life Academy. I’ve been practicing art over the past 7 years and started in my late 50’s. Nick, great interview. Your questions were asked as if they were my own. Just wonderful. Adam, listening to your journey fills my heart with joy. I will be sure to follow you.

I really do like all the work but I see something in this. This seems to come out of a vulnerable place , instinctively, which the viewer can feel, experience for themselves. and relate to. I love it and I have felt that way about many early stages of the works. It's just a different thing. A glimpse into something . It's there anyway. It's not so much t about the technique ..but more importantly to me.. that thing that makes one feel a deep connection with good art. Ty so much for sharing.

Beautiful…well, this is just for curiosity…all majority of your works you use light colors…of course in this little blue and black in very little ….where as in your podcast you use vibrant colors like orange, red, and other deep colors in your work process with guests when they too do some kind of process of art…😊Thanks.Happy Sunday from Dallas.

I love whats happening here so far, can't wait to see where you end up! Im constantly shifting between too messy/crowded - too mechanical looking, too saturated/opaque - too washy, too much white - not enough contrast, and so on. I have learned so much from you since I started painting a few years ago but being satisfied enough with my work to call it finished still elludes me. I love the process and sometimes find it exhilarating to cover up most of a painting that friends have called finished, so im not stressing too much about it. Really looking forward to thrill that will come with being proud of my work someday though and I know that your wise little nuggets like this will eventually get me there 💓

I love the rawness of this work. In my eyes it is a bit of a reflection of the state of the world right now... chaos ! But looking at it brings me a kind of peace within somehow, as if admiring beautiful chaos helps to lessen the effect on me of the sad state of the outside world. Thanks again for the CVP 2024 opportunity. I was reluctant at first but oh my did I find it a game changer for me. I expect to return for 2025 and am currently a member of the Academy. PS Little anecdote to make you smile: My 36 year old son dropped in on me the other day while I was on a live Academy Zoom call. He check out what was going on on my screen and said that he better understood why I was so loving my CVP experience: He said you were a nice mix between Mick Jagger and Anthony Bourdain !!! lol He knows I am (was) a big fan, especially of Bourdain ! Happy Sunday !

I totally agree with Danielle’s interpretation of creative block. The ebb stage of the creative process is so important and although you don’t think that anything is happening, your creative process is doing something. The ebb, from my experience is an integral part of cycle that allows the creative surges and outputs to organically settle… it separates the water from the oil. You can then recycle what you want if you pay attention to the different qualities or lessons from the previous creative output’s within the substance of water (inner-spirit & understanding) vs., the substantial oil, the physical product you created. It’s the stage of the creative process to digest what has happened. The stage that solidifies what is left that is important to your process. The ebb grounds what you created and makes it part of you. Without letting your creative activities settle, you can’t truly be open or ready to engage in the next stage of inspiration that elevates your practice to the next level.

Thanks Nick, for bringing Adam on to your podcast, and Adam, love your business model. I've done similar work with medical students on a small scale, and I hear again and again how transformative it can be. Unlocking creativity to find out more about ourselves and "be seen, heard and understood" in addition to relationship building, collaboration and idea generation ... doesn't get any better than that. Inspiring conversation. Thank you!

There is nothing worse than people who seem to want to help people when really they just want to make money. And all these Meghan Markle words of compassion authenticity and all the other gobbly gook words that are used. How much does he charge??? Yes he talks about people connecting meanwhile he is on social media. The whole idea is to get people off social media. When you guys probably would not survive or prosper without social media. Ive noticed people like Peter Doig Marlene Dumas Cecily Brown even David Hockney is not on social media. Lets face it social media is a platform for artists that cant get by. And this is fine but please spare us all the bullshit talk.

Ive done collobarations and trust me it turned out a big mess. Its ok like the old masters did that they composed and the others coloured in. I think people are just desperate to find something new in art that will sell they will try anything. Tim I think you are great with colour but I feel you need to add maybe something realistic on top of this. Brian Rutenberg is a classic example that uses out of focus and his use of colour. But I feel he is stuck with his trees. And they are beginning to all look the same. He has to be careful he lessens his value by creating too many that look similiar. Im from Oz and I love John Olsen

See this guy is drawing rather than just talking. Please just do your art and let your art do the talking. Yes us artists have been powerless in the family. This is our way of getting our power back through painting. How can I send you my art. I just know it will be valuable for a reason I cant say at the moment. God speaks to us through words paintings and music. Satan also uses people and Picasso was prolific but his idea of women was not godly. That guy is a real artist
