Hey y'all hope you enjoyed the video about the discovery of a new weird nebula right next to the rosette nebula. You can find my co-discoverers work here: www.astrobin.com/users/Marcel...
and you can find my advanced processing course here: astrofalls.com/
Thank you all for watching!

I carried out detailed discussions on what this object is, and I, along with several other Nobel Prize winners, decided it was in fact ectoplasm released by the giant spaghetti monster.

Hello Bray, the image is stunning, as usual. You have probably considered this option (or some variation of it), but have you thought about starting a discussion on a scientific platform like, for example, Research Gate? This could potentially catch the attention of the science community, and someone may be intrigued enough to pursue it with scientific rigour and even attempt to publish it (giving you a proper credit of course). However, as someone who isn't professionally versed in astronomy or astrophysics, I'm not sure what topics are currently popular in these fields and how much study would have to go into this to even start a discussion like this. Anyway, wish you all the best and thank you for your work.

Very good idea Bray! Truly the discovery image is beautiful! The content of the advanced processing course is very good, I just hope I can discover something like you in the southern hemisphere! Greetings from Argentina!

I'm super super new to all of this. Just recently (2 nights ago) became hyper fixated because of what I thought was just a bright star lol. I downloaded an app and turns out it's actually Venus. I got to looking around me and saw the rosette which I found amazing along with the lagoon and the Orion. I noticed the Orion in the app isn't too far (not a literal measurement obviously) from being in sight of the Rosetta

Bray, that’s thinking outside the box (even though others have set the precedent of creating catalogs) and practical as well, you need a place to store the fruits of your efforts.

The primary star in this particular area is identified as "V735 Mon" in Stellarium. When I activate the DSS (Digitized Sky Survey) feature in Stellarium, the region appears to have a blue hue.

I looked at the picture, and looked closely at the form of the nebula, and it looks like a giraffe. Giraffe Nebula?

Hi Bray, Isn't this very similar to what was found somewhere between us and the Andromeda Galaxy last year?

You might just make history. I imagine somebody will look into st least one of these objects in the future, and it will be you who discovered it

I have a very special request. There is an asteroid named Apophis that will whiz by Earth in 2029 at a mere 30,000 miles out. They’re saying it will not hit but I can imagine we’ll get some debris. Anyway can you find it? Asteroid 99942 Apophis is currently in the constellation of Leo

I’m surprised you haven’t found a new comet. Have you considered asking Neil deGrasse Tyson?
