🤣LOL, I freeball almost all my knives. The first thing I usually do when removing a knife from its packaging is to remove the pocket clip. The only time I leave the pocket clip on is when the knife's aesthetics suffer because it's absent.

I've been using the Ti Geezer for a few days now, and I have to say that it's absolutely perfect. This is the first slip joint in my collection, and I have not been disappointed with it for a second. Walk and talk (I think that's what it's called) is simply phenomenal in the Ti version. Try to suddenly pull the blade out to the half-stop position and you will hear that certain "ting" sound that I have never heard before in my life. I have already ordered the new pocket clip for my Geezer. I was so enchanted by this phenomenon.

Slip joints remind me of my grandpapi. Really dig this.

I've got 2 Kunwu's, a Pulsar in Elmax with their awesome DLC and a Tao 2 in Vanax with the diamond Ti scales. The quality is wild and theirs some magic going on with the smoothness of the action and the lightness of the Ti scales. Bloody love Kunwu!

I'm still waiting for Kunwu to release the XL Django, they teased it on their insta ages ago! So keen to get one!

I got my geezer a few weeks ago and it hasn’t left my pocket as a second knife! I love this thing! The acoustics on them is soooooo good! From someone who is not a giant slip joint fan this thing is great! Edit: I also bought the replacement clip and would recommend that as well!

I like that Kunwu makes full cf knives, i just wished they used something besides the basic bitch 1x1 weave. Even a 2x2 would be better, but marble is the way to go. Especially when you're charging as much if not more for it than titanium while it's cheaper and so much easier to machine.

I'm old enough that hardly any knives had pocket clips.

Even if you never use one again, I think a good 'first pocketknife' for anyone is a slipjoint. It teaches you to be aware, respect it, and use it properly as a knife (not a prybar, etc.)

Slipjoint knives have their place.

I find it so silly that countries ban any type of pocket knife. Any decent kitchen knife will cut the same and can still be concealed

They are some of the safest knives out there. Anything can be unsafe if you don't know how to properly use it, or use it in a manner it was not intended for.

Know what’s funny? In Canada, if you don’t have a minimum of a visible clip hanging out of your pocket, you are carrying a concealed weapon and that’s mandatory prison time. I’m not sure how much time, but carrying an illegal folding knife in Canada, like a spring assisted flipper or an otf or a switchblade is a minimum of a year. Up to 5 years. Just for carrying it. Visibly clipped to your pocket. So in Canada knife clips aren’t really optional. Unless you have some way for it to be visibly displayed that you are carrying a tool. Because it’s illegal for our knives to be weapons in Canada. Can’t use em to defend yourself. (Unless you have a good lawyer and a sympathetic jury.)

Kunwu and their f!@#$%^ scales LOL. I wish Kunwu would make knives with handles/scales that weren't so awful. I LOVE the look of the Pulsar/Pulsar XL but they don't make a single model that has handle scales I'd want to pay that kind of money for. Even the G10 models have that beyond stupid mock-ACU camo pattern (or that ugly AF "Gmascus") and the Ti/CF scales they use are just hideous/I hate Ti scales. Same with those worthless milled Ti pocket clips. _They don't work_ and a fold over deep-carry clip is _superior is EVERY way_ in terms of function _as a pocket clip_ . Even their use of Elmax over something more balanced and less fragile like Cruwear etc. Kunwu seems to be very much a fashion over function company so they're just not for me.
