Ever arrive somewhere just as a record you want leaves under someone else's arm? Frustrating, isn't it! #vinylcollection #recordcollection #vinylcommunity #vinylrecords

We’ve all had that feeling when we see someone just ahead of us at a bin holding a record we would have snapped up. That Guy Clark album is very good, and his stuff is hard to find. Great songwriter. Just got that Byrds album, and I’m looking for more as well as Roger McGuinn solos. Some great finds as per usual. Cheers.

Nice shares. It’s good to see some under the radar records pop up and to get a fresh take on them. Your comps are useful and I suspect, fairly accurate. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback. Everyone hears music differently, but I hope my descriptions give some idea of what to expect from these records.

I remember seeing Mecki Mark Men but forgot about it. Most of the other records you showed are very interesting and right up my alley.

I really should have some Boudewijn de Groot in my collection as my wife is a fan and he really is a great songwriter. I'll make an effort now and I'll be checking out Mayfly for sure. Sorry about the mono!

On Boudewijn (fyi Groot is pronounced “oh” rather than “ooh” - like David Grohl). I have lived here for quite a few years now and I can agree, “the Dutch” can be a very gutteral and difficult language to listen to. It’s a great album though, and Boudewijn is indeed a top artist. The song Eva is about Eve, mother of Cain and Abel, and represents her take on the 2 sacrifices her sons made to God and the consequences of that. Nice additions, thanks for sharing 😊

Thanks for filling in some of the many gaps in my knowledge. I've really opened myself up to non-English music in recent years despite being pretty crap at languages, so getting insights from people like yourself is really useful. ☮️

Missed the mono. Too bad. The best-sounding stereo of Please is, surprisingly the 70s Die Beatles. A German edition. If you ever see it grab it! I have that Speed Press LP. Yeah, you rarely see it.

I'll be on the look-out for the German pressing now. Thanks for the heads-up.
