Only 12 light years, the furthest object to have left earth has yet to have even traveled 1 light year, and besides humans are not physically adapted to living long term weightlessness, astronauts who’ve have lived onboard the space station for only a year, need physical therapy upon return to earth, and many star systems are even further, someday perhaps AI will be our first ambassador to another world in some distance solar system….

I’ve always thought space travel will never be in our future. There’s so many debilitating side effects like atrophy of the lower back and leg muscles, too much blood in the head leading to a puffy face and impaired vision, impaired gi tract function. Zero g or even just like .2g turns you into a squishy puffy fishlike abomination. Space travel will involve puppets or like you said ai

The only thing dumber than this is the dumb names they give to objects they find in the universe, you think that objects with synergism would be life creating or inspiring ... instead we get the corporate problem lens of space exploration, doomed to be premature

This is an actual star system and planet, that has been proven to have a detectable magnetic field. Just not likely to have conditions for sustained planetary life.
