I believe if you have your computer running it should be able to resign itself every week. Though to be safe you can jump into the AltStore app every 6 days to refresh the expiration date.

I've been playing MarbleBlue [Re:Master] on the Cyanvas Chart server and it's very difficult, even though I've lowered the speed level to 90%, maybe because I often play using my thumb and it's very difficult to adapt to using 4 or more fingers (append diff)

oh I wonder if they have Ride Zero charts. Might have not been the best mobile rhythm game but it's got a special place in my heart

testflight invitations are handed out on a specific schedule. they aren't open now unfortunately, but you can join their discord server to get notified for future testflight availability.

Do you mean "AltServer could not be found"? Probably has something to do with your computer not being recognized then. Are both devices connected on the same network? If it doesn't work maybe try with your device plugged in. If it still doesn't work then if you are on Windows maybe reinstall iTunes. For some reason it won't work with the Microsoft Store version. This video was super helpful! I got Sonolus today and have been enjoying it a lot! I've been having trouble with slides though, they're very unresponsive compared to in project sekai. ive tried adjusting the "slide quality" and "guide quality" in config, but i cant tell if its making it better or worse. Do you know what exactly it is those settings do?

hmm I'm actually not sure! I tried those just now and they don't seem to make any considerable difference in gameplay. maybe mess around with the offsets to see if the sliders improve

Thanks! I’ve been testing more with offsets and noticed the issue with the slides and holds mostly only applied to charts in the “Potato Leaves” server which wasn’t featured in this video. Have you used that server before? If so, do you know what exactly is the difference between it and the Cyanvas one? It has many good charts but the gameplay does seem a little bugged.

@@zura3962 I think Potato Leaves came earlier so that could explain why the server feels kinda lacking (in terms of features). Though Potato Leaves and Chart Cyanvas both use the same engine (PJSekai+) so I would assume the gameplay shouldn't differ too much between each other. I think I kinda get what you mean with the sliders because they are kinda unpredictable at times, but after some adjustment with the Audio and Input Offsets it seemed to have improved a little. You can keep toggling them to see if it gets better, but if not you should definitely ask in the Sonolus Discord server if they have a solution 👌

Yep it is safe. You can expect it to take up around 200MB initially, but it will eventually scale up to a couple GBs when you play more songs. There is an Auto Clean function in the Sonolus settings so that it never exceeds a certain amount. On my phone there is an option to save to SD card but I don't recommend it as it generally decreases performance and it doesn't really save that much storage.

If you go to the Sonolus Settings you can play around with the Graphics settings to see if that makes a difference (Render Mode and Render Scale for example).

On my Android it takes ~200MB. It can increase in size pretty significantly if you play more charts as Sonolus tends to store previous chart data (music, skins, effects, etc.) onto your device.

Flick notes are a lot more lenient in pjsk then they are in Sonolus. That could be why it feels so weird to play sometimes. If you are already fine with your offset settings then you might have to just keep playing until you get used to it unfortunately. Personally I always had an issue with hold flicks, I've noticed that if you flick too early it won't register.

The app revokes if it isn't re-signed every week. You need to hop onto AltStore once every week to make sure the app is re-signed. Unfortunately I think you're gonna have to uninstall both apps and do it over again. It's a limitation of iOS 😔

If you can't refresh the app with AltStore you might have to completely reinstall the app again unfortunately. If you don't keep an app signed every week you lose access to the app. This is a limitation of iOS.

It's been around for years now and I've used it a couple times here and there before so it should be safe. Your Apple ID is used in order to sign the app you downloaded (in this case Sonolus). This applies to any app you sideload into your device through your computer. It might seem a little scary but it has always been reliable for me. Hopefully Apple can let us sideload apps normally in the future.

You can play charts from other games by adding different servers. You can find them in the Sonolus Discord server (link in the description). Simply copy those server links into the app like how I added the Project Sekai and Chart Cyanvas servers.

Waiting for TestFlight invitations to open up is probably your next best option. Some people were able to sideload it without a computer via Scarlet, but I haven't used it before, you can check out another tutorial if you want to try it for yourself.
