Never heard country this way, but even as a non-American I feel the lyrics and it hurts like mad. Our countries and cultures are getting destroyed and many average people do not get it yet.

Ahh mann!!! I like the vibes of this song. I'm not a country music fanatic but as a matter of fact, I'm not a fanatic of any music per se'. My mood is what guide me to what type of music I listen to at that moment, in that moment and thats probably due to the array of music I listened to growing up. In my early days, I listened to Elvis, Dazz Band, Michael Jackson, Dokken, Lynard Skinard, SOS Band, Prince, etc... and going thru high school, listening to Country music during my like 11th & 2th grades as I worked at a auto repair shop in Atlantic Beach, FL (Mayport Auto Care) just outside the gates of Mayport Naval Station. Getting back to the point, I'm a fan of many generes and listen to them depending on my mood... Especially during long drives. Thank you for your reaction to this song.

Great song for sure. I'm not into to country too much either but this guy is a rocker. Saw him at a country festival last year, along with Morgan Wallen and others. They're both actually great. Country isn't what it was 20 years ago. There's some really good guitar now in a lot of it.

🤣😂 the genre is progressive country, aka more southern fried rock than anything. Im fairly eclectic. There are 2 genres that i dont have much interest in . Those being rap and opera. Though there are exceptions to both. The song and video denounce the senseless violence of crime and the riots, and lift up the grassroots strength of fommunity most often found in rural and small town america, but not limited to them. Not one bit of racism involved as the mainstream would have you believe.

Aldean is a 'country singer,' but this is not a country song, musically speaking, but today's country music is a mix of country, pop, rock, and rap. This is much closer to rock. If you want REAL country music check out George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis! Great message in the song, though.
