Hi guys, it’s awesome that you guys are getting out there living the dream! Really enjoying your videos. Regarding the tent with a “porch” I would suggest looking into a tarp. Packs down really small and very versatile. I use mine as my main tent, it’s also a good bike cover/picnic blanket/emergency rain shelter

Buy a 4 person free standing tent and then buy a lightweight nylon tarp, 10 x 12 or 12 x 16 and set one end up over your tent and then use 2 collapsing poles for the outer two corners and stake it down with draw cords. You will have a lightweight nylon bigger tent with a large porch over and out the front. It works great!

Lone Rider Moto Tent. It's big and expensive but would suit the two of you. The parking bay area is big enough to stand up in and would be ideal for sheltering in on rainy miserable days. This tent can be seen on Saffy Sprocket's and Rest Day Riders channels. ( Both female motorcycle travellers).

Great video and looking forward to your trip. Subscribed. Dont forget you can get free standing tarp porches for tents (there are some on Decathlon). So you could choose a tent without a porch and then add a free standing tarp. I wiuld suggest looking at tents with vestibules to store gear at night. Some tents such as the MSR Elixir 2 also have optional gear garages to add on the end. But I think putting up multiple tent parts such as gear garages and separate porches may get tiring if you are camping every night. I would look at gettingareally good tent with vestibules for gear and consider the separate tarp porch only for when you may stop somewhere afew days.

Epic new adventure! I've been to Nordkapp as well, you might want to consider Norway up and Finland down. If you're travelling Norway down, you'll most of the day be riding with the sun in your face rather than on your back, making it more difficult to enjoy the scenery as you're constantly looking into the sunlight. Just a tip 😊

Hi guys, inspiration for a Cornwall trip with this video! Stunning! In terms of tents, we have a vango 3 man with a porch and it's great for like bikes however we find ourselves looking at buying a kampa 4 or 5 man we saw, we could actually have sat easily in our chairs where as the vango our heads touch the roof. Our vango weighs 5kg and I think the kampa was around 6 or 7 so much much difference for alot more space! Hope you find your dream set up soon! 😊

I loved seeing you two on this relaxed trip! The trip to Scandinavia sounds AWESOME!!! The new luggage looks like great quality and versatility...should do you really well. Btw...tents...i think you'll appreciate something with a porch, especially with a month long trip on the horizon. Being able to look forward to a larger tent to serve as your home while traveling will be a Godsend. Just make sure you get something that is tough and weather/rain/wind resistant. Have you thought about getting a double sleeping bag to keep warmer at night? I've used them (singally & doubly) and they're great. ❤ Lauren
