A morning spinning for cumbrian salmon 🎣

Had a mornings spinning on a west coast Cumbrian spate river, had a brilliant morning catching a real big salmon (wish I knew the weight now).
The salmon were release to fight another day, hopefully they making it to there breeding ground an create the next batch of kings.

Was happy with the first one never mind the second when, was a good morning.
Guys great you have caught, but they are not pike. Keep them in the water, playing around on the bank with them isn’t good fish care. We have so few of them in our river systems.

Where I caught them fish it’s really deep in at the side to deal with them it’s much faster putting them on the wet grass. Am not drowning over a fish 😂
