A Modern Twist On A Classic Cocktail: The Charlie Chaplin | Chaplin Talks

The Charlie Chaplin cocktail is a classic cocktail originating in the Waldorf Astoria, New York as far back as the early 1900’s and is included in ‘The Waldorf Astoria Bar Book’.
I meet up with my friend Dani who is the owner of Monoloco, a cocktail experience in Zermatt, Switzerland. He teaches me how to make the classic Charlie Chaplin cocktail and then surprises me with his own incredible creation which he calls ‘Charlie Chaplin 2.0’.
He uses ingredients from Chaplin’s film ‘The Rink’ to create one of the most visually stunning and delicious cocktails I have ever tried.
Ingredients
Classic Charlie Chaplin cocktail
3 equal parts of:
* Sloe Gin
* Apricot Brandy
* Lime Juice
Charlie Chaplin 2.0
* Homemade black Gin infused with activated Charcoal powder.
* Williams liquor (pear liquor)
* Lime juice
* Egg white
* Simple syrup
* Bitters
* Edelweiss flower

    Cleaver idea for an episode. I plan to visit Vevey, the museum and Zermatt in the near future. I'll have to add a stop at Monoloco.

    Thank you so much for sharing this cocktail recipe. I made myself one, and it's so good. I might have another. Ok, let's be realistic. I'm going to have another. Lol😂🎩🍹

    In my second viewing of this video I observed Dani uses his wrists in the shaking. I shook vigorously with the wrists preparing myself The Birthday Boy's Cocktail (c'est 16 avril dans Colombie-Britannique). Perhaps next I shall shake to Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5,
