A Modern Luxury Home in Coimbatore With Courtyards and Light-Wells (Home Tour).
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Located in the neighbourhood of Kaalapatti in Coimbatore, this house redefines the idea of modern luxurious living by striking a fine balance between nature and technology. The main idea is to bring in a lot of natural light using courtyards and light wells while giving a luxuriant aesthetic to the house.
#myideaofluxury is a series presented by Marble Centre International ( / @marblecentreinternati... ) association with #buildofy
Designed as a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, this home uses a diverse material palette to make each space look different yet cohesive.
To download the full PDF eBook of House of Lights in Coimbatore with floor plans, materials used, construction techniques and so much more, please visit: www.buildofy.com/projects/hou...
A bold facade with an earthy palette, green courtyards, a unique grill design and the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces are some key highlights of the project.
The Principal Architects walk through the house and explain how they brought in elements of luxury while keeping the overall design subtle and sophisticated.

Really like this channel. Architects have done a great job. Hope some day I will be able to afford the house 1/4 the size of it.

Natural wood and Marble was used as flooring material for each alternative 2 steps.
Gorgeous house in general. However, I find the interior design overkill. It has too many different, clashing elements.
It looks clumpsy I couldn’t understand the floor plan at all…
Lol...om Shanti to the lakhs that were spent on this house. The architects seem so confused...rustic, lux, modern...they have no clue except throwing jargons. Unfortunately money cannot buy you taste 😂
What is the overall cost of this house?

despite spending multiple crores, the project seems very flimsy & showy to me, with not much attention being given to sustainability & durability & long lasting. the iron gates & grills of such a new project rusting seems to confirm this. exterior wooden ceilings will rot after a few seasons of rain. instead of using local, they are importing things from abroad. thats probably not the hallmark of a national level architect

Bro have you ever heard the word *choice* if they can afford anything and want to import let them import, they must have paid import duties taxes and bro please explain the word *sustainability* for my knowledge

@@pankajoraon4619 clearly the architect didnt mention that "they" asked for it, as you have assumed here; and for your information, sustainability is doing things in such a way that means saving the world today for our children, making it grow today for our next generation without causing environmental damage - that is not going to happen if someone spends triple or quadruple the price of a same quality item for importing it from a faraway country - including freight, customs, & ofcourse a premium due to their higher standard of living, & besides local industry doesn't grow which would grow the economy of the domestic country. I know it is futile to try to explain these things to someone who without even giving it the benefit of the doubt started crying about it like a baby as if the architects are his daddy & mommy, & with the profile name as such, but still I had some time to spare, next stupid comment gets blocked.

@@sreejitghosh4629 Bro I am glad that you replied to my comment. 1 And for your kind information - any person who goes to an architect will definitely describe him or her that what "they" want and what they consider it to look like even you or me . 2. No bro I clearly have some information about sustainability and personaly for me planting more trees and plants which you can clearly see in the video is more important than using your sustainable friendly products. And for your kind information I and my family have planted numbers of plants and still plant every year which your family's last 5 generation cannot even match the number. So get out from western sustainable narrative and see the ground reality. 3. Bro I don't have any connection with the architects involved in the project but I know there were many other things which were not talked in the video that doesn't mean "they" weren't demanded. 4. About my user name, I can use any username I want. And also before lecturing to anyone you should look into your lifestyle particularly about 'sustainability' that sustainable friendly is your house used products are and how you dispose plastic packets and many other things. And I have an advice for use instead of using showers and washing machine use bucket you will save water which is more sustainable for persent generation and instead of owning car and bike buy a bicycle you will save the earth from pollution.

Doesn’t feel cozy at all, looks office space or retreat centre. The only beautiful addition is the outdoor tropical garden.
It's just what you can get done with money. Nothing too special.

Plan is not that great. Material selection way out of modern concept. 3/10. Toilets are badly design for such a site. Overall below average
