I can't tell you how much you saved my ass on this one. I scratched the shit out of the brand new cooler at my job and when I tried to fix it I made it 100× worse and then I did this and it looks even better than when they bought it.
Just did this to a heavily scratched stainless steel sink. Looks amazing. Thank you.
Thanks so much for this. Life saver 🙌 worked well on my stainless steel dual sink. If I could share before and after pics, I would. ☺
HOLY S**T thanks guys! Fixed scratch on iron mongery for expensive double doors! Much love!

Thanks for this! I ended up here after skipping the previous (nearly 12 minute long) video half way through out of sheer boredom, having not learnt a single useful thing! This is good information, clear explanation and demonstration in 2.30 minutes. Perfect!
Wow! Worked like Magic. Thank you!
Works like a dream. Thanks
Rock star status! Thanks a ton. I just removed a giant scratch that I thought would be on my range hood forever.

Thank u ! You save my fridge

what about discoloration
Hi, we have a (coated?) brushed stainless steel part in the shower. Will this method work for it? Thanks

I had the same thing on my stainless steel fridge. It was coated and I ruined the coating accidentally. So, yes this method will work but you will have to polish the ENTIRE piece in order to re-finish it. You can't just do one little spot. Hope this helps!
Does this really work?
thank you
Beware if your appliance has more of a polished than brushed look you will scratch the shit out of your appliance, avoid using the green side at all cost

why not use the green side? how will we remove the scratches without it? did you use the other part of the sponge and it worked ?

This worked like magic right after finishing the process. But as soon as I cleaned the surface and removed the oil, the scratches came back. Now I have both scratches and smudge. In other words, this doesn’t remove the scratches, but it makes the appearance acceptable temporarily

It took me quite awhile to get it right. Initially, I had a similar experience to yours but kept at it and the scratches seemed to disappear but the surface was dulled slightly. I then used damp fine (0000) steel wool on my fridge and range backguard and am very happy with the results.
Exactly, That dishes pad made my steal scratch. It's so wiear that you use that for removing the scratch. 😳

Same here, I guess you’re actually scratching it a little again with this method, and since it’s brushed finished it works, that’s why he says you MUST FOLLOW the grain direction. You will practically be scratching the thing “the right way”.
only good for brushed finish stainless steell. DO NOT use on mirror finish!
Thank you for creating this video! But how do I know if this will work on my stainless steel refrigerator? I don't want to scratch it more :( My boys put a suction basketball hoop on the fridge and now our refrigerator has circle scratches on it :( Thanks for any help!

As with anything, test on an inconspicuous area like the top of the fridge
lol can't remember but somehow I got the scratches back out. just do some research. but I guess it's better to use some special cleaner or pad and avoid it to begin with. seem like I wiped in one direction so I guess I kinda polished the steel so the brushed look was in same direction not all up and down and sideways. turned out ok . they should send you a small piece of metal to practice on. lol
they should make a polish or was to remove hairline scratches.
Make sure it's a brushed finish guys.
I scratched up badly my new watch battery cover putting in its first battery with hair cutting scissors.

You didn't do it right then. You gotta go with the grain of the steel as mentioned. I just did this to my brand new stainless steel fridge after not knowing how to properly clean it, and BOOM it looks beautiful now, Thank you XtremeAirUSA! I love Mexicans, they know how to clean!
