As someone who stayed with Minecraft during the low in popularity while especially Fortnite took over I can say, that while it appears like that time will never end, one day something will happen, that will end it with a bigger return than we could ever hope

@@ulfberht4431 if we got an animated heir to the empire properly adapted I would be all for it. The animated projects hold the spirit still in my opinion

What makes me sad the most is when some "R2D2 is a lesbian" fan says things like "I've been a huge fan since episode 7, Star Wars is for everyone and if you don't like it shut up and go away.". I've seen all the original movies coutless times, read dozens of books, played dozens of games, and I never thought I'd lose such a great passion.

I'm surprised people are still watching. After Ahsoka, I just gave up. Honestly, I don't think Star Wars needs any new content. We already have hours of amazing shows and moives, the more Disney makes, the more boring it gets. Nothing should go on forever.

I just watched this video four times in a row. It really hits me hard that I'm struggling to enjoy Star Wars as much as I once did. I've been a fan since I saw A New Hope in the theaters (I'm that old). But now, I feel like a fandom of one. I listen to the Legends audiobooks on my daily walks, and that's mostly it for me. I recently unsubscribed to all my Star Wars fans KZread pages because I got tired of hearing them constantly complaining about the current stuff. (Just subscribed to yours) I'm staying as strong as I can, but the hope I have for a better Star Wars future is but a candle. (Read the last sentences in the Revenge of the Sith novelization for that reference.) May the Force be with all of you!

Thanks for being here. We too, share a lot of the same thoughts you do. I had to watch revenge of the sith yesterday just to remind myself again why I love Star Wars so much. ​​@@McGinnisEnterprises Not for me. TFA was the first Star Wars movie I ever went to theaters for. I was very disappointed. The annoying thing is the only character I liked of the new cast was Finn. To this day I wish HE was the main character of the Trilogy instead of Rey. A former stormtrooper turned Jedi would've been an actual interesting concept.

Hey man... lets just make our own. With benefit of hindsight, just gotta make it legaly distinct enough from sauce material. Sure we lose the names and titles, but the spirit of the adventure and the vision can stay with us and we can branch out from core experience like the SCP foundation.

I'm cool with most of what Disney has done to Star Wars. I'm glad they bought it because the amount of Star Wars content we would've gotten otherwise would have been significantly less.

For any of you who are losing hope with Disney Star Wars, know that there is better. While Disney Wars has been a dumpster fire from the start, the real Star Wars has always been good. Check out the true sequel Trilogy: Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. Then, you will have taken your first steps into a much larger world. From here you can check out the X-Wing novels to see the rebirth of Rogue Squadron, or Dark Empire, to see Luke prepare for the upcoming Jedi Order. Do you like Revenge of the Sith? Check out Labyrinth of Evil to see what happened leading up to Palpatine being kidnapped from Coruscant. Disney has never been the way forward, but Star Wars is truly alive and well.

Thanks to the Prequels we got the CIS and the GAR and for this and the Birth of THE EMPIRE i will be thankful for ever. Some People are worried that the Children will think for the Crimes of Darth Kennedy when they hear Star Wars, but as long the OG Fans live and show them the real Star Wars, Evil and Madness of Disney will never win.

Keep your originals. VHS, the rare DVD copy with original theatricals, and all the old books, right back to Splinter of the Mind’s Eye. Those were great stories. Dark Horse Comics books, too. Dark Empire and Legacy were good stories. And thanks to Timothy Zahn for his version of Thrawn and Mara Jade! The post-Disney product is not worthy, even Mandalorian is not the same in style and message. Keep what was good, and ignore the rest. After all, they already took Andor off the streaming service, Acolyte will follow to oblivion. May the Force be with you always, because this Disney stuff is not it.

​@@TheRealCinemaSquadThat's the thing people either didn't know or didn't care. Jar Jar was specifically made for children. His whole role was to be a character to help explore this world of Star Wars to introduce kids to. Of course he wasn't meant for adults. Lucas even consulted a child psychologist about him. Even I admit he was slightly annoying, but heck before him, 3P0 was the annoying character. I still hate what Disney did to him. They didn't kill him off, instead they made him a street clown entertaining kids.

@@TheRealCinemaSquad my apologies. When I watched the video I got a different vibe. Idk why. Thanks for being open to discussion. So when I say the prequels are bad what I’m really talking about is execution. I love the story and world building behind it. But the bad acting really takes me out of it. I love the clone wars show so much. The animated version of Anakin Skywalker is my favorite character of all time (just under Indiana Jones). But when I watch RotS after seeing the show, I feel robbed in a way because the live action version does not transition well from the animated one. Don’t get me wrong, Hayden is a great guy and he nailed it in the Kenobi and Ahsoka shows. But in the movies, I feel like he just wasn’t up to the task yet. The reason I like the animated version more is because of better acting but also because it lines up better with Obi wans description of him in a new hope

doubtful on Disney, love the video, but, nah, Star Wars died when George sold out.

It can still be revived either by two ways: either Disney hires actual fans and lovers of Star Wars and shove away their political bullshit messages, or Disney outright needs to sell Star Wars to someone else who is worthy and capable of doing Star Wars justice, like a large fandom of Star Wars who can write better stories.
