If you were to liquidate her assets before her lawyers take her to the cleaners there would be a nice little nest egg for the children and for Hildebrant's niece as well. She suffered as much as the Franke children and she has never received any help at all. No ambulance came to rescue her from that house of horrors. She had to get well on her own.

Yep NTM their first phone call after Ruby was arrested was “I hid a bag of money, do the cops have the money, where is the money, does the press know and did the cops or media talk to Shari” A small fraction at the end of the conversation does he say anything about his kids.

I agree 💯. Kevin 🚫 blocked all cell # for his children on Ruby's directions. So, if any child had reached out to him for help. None would come. He was complicit in all abuse during 8 Passengers. And there was plenty. But it's Utah, and since Ruby and Jodi pled out, they probably won't do much more than 4 to 10 years. Sickening. Those children will carry this trauma for life. We know from listening to Jodi's niece. 😢🙏✝️💜

Childhood trauma is no joke. No matter how much help and love and support you get to counter the abuse you've suffered, there's never going to be a day that you get your childhood "spark" back. It's dead. Completely. To do this to any human, or animal, is atrocious and sick. But a human child's brain being exposed to extremes like terror, anxiety, betrayal... it CHANGES THEM. They carry that same brain in their skulls through a lifetime. And everything that's built after the trauma is added on to a faulty base. So adults who may be 2+ decades removed from their traumatic period have out-of-the-blue nervous breakdowns. Older teen / young adult years start to include eating disorders or self harm. Depression and anxiety - to a degree that interferes with basic function - pops up for most survivors. And that's just the ones who actually receive appropriate professional treatment and have supportive, reliable adults that care for them in the aftermath. *There's a special place in hell, if there is a hell, for people who traumatize children. But ESPECIALLY those who do it to their own kids. The reason is simple, obvious, and devastating: when you have all the negatives that come with childhood trauma but you add onto them the element of betrayal... it's the lowest form of cruel. There's something extra that kids who are harmed by their own parents carry with them. It's probably the most damaging element there can be in a trauma situation. To lose faith in your parents being your protectors is very, very destructive to the mental development of a child. I hope these kids have the best life possible. And I hope these women come to understand the depth of the harm they've done to these innocent children, what they've robbed them of.

That's the main child-rearing technique of many churches. "Breaking the will" of the child is considered the only way to save them from Satan. My neighbors didn't even call it child-rearing or raising, they called it child training. Like they were dogs. Everyone in their evangelical church believed the same thing. As it turns out, that's the main point of view on children in most of these churches.

theres literally pictures of their fully stocked pantry. Ruby wrote in her journal about how E used to sing songs about how "My mom makes me starve and calls it fasting while she lays in bed and eats brownies" these women were genuinely witches.

In one video I saw, they said it took 4 hours for the young child to feel comfortable enough to leave the closet. 😢

The little boy's wounds were beyond horrific. They looked like 3rd-degree burns. Those rope burns & deep cuts were horribly infected- esp since they tortured him by rubbing cayenne pepper in it. The first responders said you could smell it. It wouldn't surprise me if he needed skin grafts. The judge wasn't exaggerating when he said the kids looked like concentration camp victims- they were that thin. I hope they get real therapy- not just some bishop cosplaying a therapist.

It's crazy to me that the house is basically empty but they still remembered to keep the handcuffs and rope. These demon women should be in jail for life. And Kevin too, he's just as much to blame.

The little girl was in the safe (closet) for 4 hours before they could coax her out. I am glad they took their time & didn't force her because being snatched out of there against her will would likely have traumatized her more.

No, the girl was in an upstairs closet. The safe was empty but described earlier as a punishment dungeon. When they found the ropes and chains int he walk in safe...it was confirmed.

What a stupid thing to say In all my free time I volunteer at youth homes, CAC facilities, CV of neglect. So yes, to your statement, I do a lot to help protect and provide safe locations for many many children.

I watch a dog rescue channel in Greece, every morning. When severely abused and traumatized dogs are brought in (which sometimes have been chained up for years) they behave just like the little girl. They cower in a corner, unmoving and often just shaking and even refusing food though they're just skin and bones. I have never understood how humans can treat animals like that, much less their own children. I hope those women serve the full 30 years of their sentence and that Ruby's husband is charged also. He did nothing to protect those children.

When the EMT said she wants to cry and was outside is when they responsed to the little boys injuries at the neighbors house following the 911 call. It was not after being with the little girl. The little girl did eat a personal size pizza, then half a large pizza while in the closet. She was starving.

If you saw their presentation from their Connexions business, a self help behavior modification process based out of Mormonism! It's based off of 2 entities, "Truth & Distortions" truth being living the life of perfection & distortions being misbehavior of any kind that deviates from truth & in this case in Ruby's family she set the rules based off her own perception of the world around her (narcissism) One example was the "3 yr old" was expected to wake herself up every morning on time & on her own, but over slept one day, that's a distortion because Ruby set the truth/rule & since it's a distortion it must be dealt with & as her channel showed, she was clearly abusive in dealing with distortions. Another distortion, her 5 year old forgot to make her school lunch one day, school called & Ruby told the teacher NOT to give her food & no one else is to feed her either, she needs to starve to overcome this issue (distortion.) (that term was not used with the teacher tho but it was the family dynamics) Here's the thing, Ruby was caught on camera speeding (4am & 2 kids in the car) by an officer 2 weeks before her arrest, she was also on bodycam, the officer gave her a speeding ticket for 57 in a 35 zone , THAT'S A DISTORTION & by Ruby's standards needs to be dealt with.

One person wrote that this woman “stole their childhood.” I will add to that and say that she stole their lives.

She was afraid to talk because she was afraid of what the repercussions would be from her mother and Ruby. She was afraid that they would get away with it

I watched the whole video of where they had Jodi at her front door. They asked her about the panic room and she said it hasnt been open in about 6 years. The video of them putting the handcuffs/chains and rope is inside of the panic room. Both of these women need to do the max. I also had my suspicions about a romantic connexion between Jodi and Ruby.....there is a police interview with Rubys husband (audio only), where he confirms it along with Pam joining in on the fun. Repent all you want Ruby....you are gonna need it.

@@catecate2809 Yes. About 6 weeks after her arrest, hi finally got some calirty and cooperated with police. Her husband opened up about how Jodi lived with them for a few months and they started sleeping together (Jodi and Fankie), to scare the 'demons away'. It was a great interview because the husband was no longer in a fog and spilled the beans. He also mentioned that Pam would join in on these locked door 'Jodi/Fankie/Pam tantric sessions' while he was forbidden to interrupt or even be in the house. This was right before he was officially 'invited' to leave the house for good. He really brought to the table most of the missing pieces that the public wasnt aware of. After todays evidence dump, I understand why they wanted a speedy trial and plead guilty.

It's been hard to hear about what happened through the news, court hearings and documents but these tapes and calls are far far worse. I haven't the strength to watch them all. The mental and physical torture of these children is horrendous and seeing that baby in fear and not want to move or speak for hours is so heartbreaking to watch. R saved her as well as himself and the other sisters as well as they had been scrubbing kitchen floors at Pam's home, no telling what was in their future. I pray for the best for these kids can become whole again.

Yea, the cops asked her how many kids are in the house, she said one, so, she knew R had escaped.

Did you have a basement full of canned food for the upcoming apocalypse? When we moved to Oregon we kept visiting houses like that and were like 'What the...?' Our real estate agent said 'Yeah there are a lot of Mormons around here...'

UTAH PAROLE & PARDON/PROBATION... MAKE THEM DO THEIR FULL SENTENCE THEY'RE A DANGER TO EVERYONE AROUND THEM!!! As a mother Ruby had 1 job & that was to keep them kids safe, keep the same energy as a mom who hands her child to an offender. These children will have to unpack this for 20+ years possibly more.

@@infinitejest.4994 Starting 4 years from now the victims will have show up to beg the parole board not to release these witches EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they come up for parole. The victims will never be able to get on w/their lives. Utah is literal HELL. An inhumane, godforsaken hellhole.

My god, by the look of her arms she was starved. Those poor children, who knows if they will ever be right, or find any peace for the rest of their lives. I feel for all the officers and first responders who are also scarred from this.

You didn't say anything about the boy. When the EMT started crying, that was because of the condition the boy was in. He had horrific gashes on his ankles from ropes. Even the cops were shocked when they saw it.

He had black stinking festering infected dead cell open wounds around his ankles. Appalling.

I've worked a lot with kids. One thing they love is warmth and kindness. The fact that this child can't respond to this officer's obvious warmth and kindness is harrowingly revealing.

I don't get Why do people do this to there own children. It's beyond sick. I can't tell you guys how many times my wife an I have sat in front of the news on TV an said, we would gladly take those kids or kid an raised them an most important give them love an attention that they so desperately need. I have had so many times tears run down my face seeing stuff like this.

The older daughter reported them multiple times, but the police found nothing wrong when they investigated. It’s a shame.

That child is cachectic. She is STARVING HER. Child is terrified. NEVER let her return to the evil creature who says she is her mother.

I'm sick to my stomach at the adults. I hope they spend the rest of their days constantly looking over their shoulders. Hopefully these kids will bounce back physically but they will always need support with their mental health. The issue of religious extremism within communities who deliberately isolate themselves from society needs to be taken seriously and diligently investigated to stop further abuses.

Well, in the jail phone calls Ruby referred to the other inmates as 'the girls' and Jodi bragged about harassing some poor Jewish woman w/ her Mormon crap. Hopefully the prison inmates will be a little rougher.

When she says “she’s right over here” and not saying “the closet”…despicable people. My heart goes out to those precious kids.

Why is she surprised Jodie needs to have the same abuse done to her as she Inflicted on her children 😮

They took a plea so the kids wouldn't have to testify, so the theoretical maximum sentence was 60 yrs but due to Utah laws they won't serve more than 30 years.
