A Look Back At SWAT, Dallas and Houston
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Having returned to the UK and a heap of work from the US over a week ago, Natalja and I have been working flat out to get it cleared so we can concentrate on moving forward on the run up to the Harrogate Show in November.
As I say in the video, we are very grateful to Craig and the team at Wood World of Texas (www.woodworldtx.com) for their hospitality whilst we were with them. They made being so far from home very easy!
Thanks too, to those turners who dropped by our position at SWAT symposium in Waco, made a purchase and stood watching one of my demonstrations . . . and likewise to those who took one of the lessons with my back in Dallas the following week.
Out time with Rebecca DeGroot ( / rebecca_degroot ) was all too short. We'll have to see if we can arrange more time next year perhaps.

So glad y'all had a good time! And great to be with you again at SWAT, my friend!

Looked like a great trip. Missed it this year, but making plans to be there in 2024!
Looks like you had a fantastic time Martin, and looking forward to working with you soon on the Pedestal bowl Course.
Hi Martin. It’s nice to catch up. Just to share: I’ve just finished making 12 bowls using a different Hampshire Sheen intrinsic colour for each. 🌞
Coming to Portland Oregon next year for the AAW symposium? Hoping so! Would love to get a chance to say hello in person!

I'm hoping to get there. I'm chatting about doing some sort of deal with a couple of companies to help me get over there. Watch this space!
