The scalloped pavers in the square are absolutely spectacular or in other words, stunning. I really do like them as they add a level of artistic design and flair even on the ground. Another town had a different pattern but still intriguing. Non vedo l'ora, non vedo l'ora di andare in italia!!🙏

I was born and raised in Sulmona. I still go back every year, it seems I can see its authentic beauty only now that I live abroad... Also, that square (Piazza XX Settembre) used to be full of youngers back in the 90'... Most of us moved away! Sulmona will always be my hometown, no matter where I live now. Ps. If you're into poetries, don't forget to read Ovidius work, his statue just in the middle of the square, is still wondering why nobody's reading his masterpieces! 🤔😂
