A little too friendly fox
Just working away fixing my van only to be joined by a friendly little fox who’s clearly more curious than scared . We’ve all been nice to them leaving food when we can and can only imagine we will have more videos to come 😁👍🦊

The wild foxes here in Scotland are really tame, probably because barely anybody hunts them. I made friends with a young fox that my fiance named Suzie, she leads me on treks around the woods and even sits down to wait for me if I am too slow, and if she is in a sleepy mood she will just lie beside me and have a snooze, didn't even have to give her food to gain her trust 😂

This is how some animals domesticate themselves. The friendly ones get positive attention and care from us while the aggressive ones get shooed off or killed by us. That’s all foxes that are familiar and comfortable with humans. incredibly curious creatures who love to play and are harmless and love attention and affection. In American though people have wrong idea and want all wild animals removed from their back yards so they are less common. Also scared of foxes. However my neighborhood has several and I have experience with fox handling (part of trying to own one as a pet but approval process has stalled out for years now) so I was tasked with “taking care of them” I instead proved to my neighbors how sweet and curious they are and how friendly they are. Now my neighbors don’t want the foxes removed and they love it that a wild animal is naturally so friendly. We have one fox that will happily come right up to you. Momma fox isn’t always happy about her baby doing it but momma fox isn’t overly protective I think her is at the age where momma backs off but still watches. Reason I know momma fox isn’t happy with me is because she refuses to take food I leave for her if her baby gets too close to me. :/ but otherwise no issues.
