The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

thanks, I did forget to get back to that topic. the focal length on those cameras are about 2" to 3" and most beyond that gets blurry, they are made for pipes and things close up. that said, I have used a special snake camera here already that works moderately, like the Slenderman episode last Halloween month.
Thanks for taking us along on these Sunday walks,Ron.The historic places of rest that you visit in Chicago are simply amazing!
Sorry to hear the family of the kid who was mauled by the St. Bernard dogs were so upset about that video. It was timely for me to educate the kids in my circle about proper conduct around strange animals. I live in Winnipeg and two children were recently mauled by coyotes and the reason was they ran and triggered the prey instincts of the animal. That was a difficult story for sure because your amazing narrative put us back in time, and that scenario of horror. The light will shine when the bad can be made good through educating the future. You’re so good man 🙏🌸🧖♂️
It is sad that people would come to these sacred places and do bad things it’s like doing bad things in a church you just don’t do it 😢
I love the live cemetery walks. Can’t wait to see the ones you have in store for us!
Hi Ron. I lurk here, don’t say much, but love your content!
Sorry I missed the live, clearing property getting stung loads of fun in 105 to 108 degree weather, and I must say Bee Gees they were the most honest but had the most unique sound and still playing today.
Thanks! From Toronto Canada

Hey thanks Michael, very much appreciated!! 👍👍
Ron sorry I was behind but yes there is a monument at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah called "Running Girl" a woman who was famous in Savannah for running around town. She can be googled . From the looks of it her jogging kept her in very good shape. Maybe you'll see it in the future. Thanks for the great shows!

Hello from Texas! I am from a funeral home family and have a fascination for cemeteries, etc. l love how your respect every aspect of your cemetery tours.
Love from sweden😊
Thanks for the Sunday walk Ron. You had a few glitches, but no reason to shut things down. I like the idea 💡 of you walking around with an antenna 📡 on your head. Especially when you have refused to use one of those umbrella 🌂 hats! 😆 🤣 Gotta love it. ❤️
Hello Ron, Saline Michigan is in the house enjoying your tour.😊
Rosehill is a delightful place. An urban parkland, and forest, and historical wonder. As teens we used to fish in the pond on it's West side. We accessed the the park through the legal entrances, or scaled the Metra tracks on the East side. An hour before dusk was the best time to take in it's wonders. The stonework is incredible, including a cherub on a baby's grave that has been covered in plexiglass to protect it from Chicago's traditional harsh winter climate. If you can take a tour, I would do it. A restaurant across from the East entrance is an old bar/restaurant that Northsiders appreciate as do mourners.

So very sorry i missed the live, darn it. But glad i am watching now. Thank you Ron.
My father was the caretaker at a cemetery, in Wisconsin for about 5 years, until he passed away. I was very young. About 4 years old when we moved there. I do kinda wish we had been there longer. I would have gotten more interested the people buried there & their stories. A headstone was never placed on my father's grave.
I throughly enjoyed this walk with you Ron & The Faces of the Forgotten Community ☺ ♥ 🥰 Love too you All from the UK 🇬🇧 🤗 xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thx for the walk/talk! Potter Mausoleum-nice. Manuel-beautiful sculpture. Ludwig Wolff-oh lala. Getty-breathtaking. Re: Wales-Isle of Man TT Motorcycle Races-most dangerous. Finally the cemetery is open in Montreal (Côte des Neiges) after a 6MONTH STRIKE. If you can imagine. Now the families will be able to bury their dead. The cemetery you are in is beautiful and have a great day! 🙂
What a great day for a walk

Sorry I missed most of the stream. I was on a zoom meeting with my family. Had a dream that I met you and your boys. The youngest wanted me to help him with his geometry. Lol.
GREAT
Lots of different snakes down here in southwest AZ
I hear you okay. Your signal cut out for a couple of seconds (twice), but now everything is good. 😊
My first concert was REO in Kalamazoo MI. 1976ish
Thank you
Great live stream. Cool story about BJ and Dirty Dragon. I saw Ray Rayner twice when he performed at Candlelight Theater. Was able to chat with him before one of the performances while he was out for a smoke. Another time, I saw him doing a demo at Riverside Mall for a radio controlled toy. In the early 80's, my mother and 3 friends went to a taping of Phil Donahue at WGN studio. While waiting in line, Frazier Thomas walked by and she got his autograph for me. By that time , I was in my late 20's but I was as excited as if she'd gotten Elvis' Presley's autograph. Still have it too, framed.

I actually went to the churchyard where Frazier Thomas's ashes are spread, but the wind ruined the take. Anyway, fond memories. All of them but Cookie the cLown (who I did an episode on) were cremated, and no graves, otherwise was going to do a WGN kids episode.

Hello, from West Virginia
yeah! Able !
I didn't lose you. I was there the whole time
I really enjoy your video’s!!! So educational and entertaining. I do have one question about a certain type of headstone I have seen several times in your video’s… they look maybe a one or two feet high (square stone) with what looks like a cylindrical top on them… was just wondering if it’s just a style of stone that was popular at one time or if it represents a type of work or profession…. Lol… it may be hard to decipher my description. Thanks for all you do. 😊👍
Late but love your videos
