I saw the monster being all the killings going on in America. I just found out about the Waffle House Massacre where 4 kids were brutally killed in gun fire right around that Kanye incident...I think its more about how we feed into media such as Kanye and TMZ rather than the horrors that is going on everyday.

That's good! Also how literally Kanye and other tmz type stories do distract us from important things like actual policies that benefit us. Monsters like unaffordable Healthcare and climate change, war, violence, homelessness, poverty, failing education..etc. Great skit tho

I don’t get the implication. Is he talking about how black people sold their own into slavery? It was a choice for those specific people and the people who bought, sold, and ferried them, I guess. If that’s what he’s talking about I don’t see the contention. It was a terrible act .

Judah Rininger Kanye said that slavery for 400 years was a choice, but slavery in America was only 200 years. What Kanye was referring to is a mental slavery of sorts over the general African American public, which in his eyes very few have chosen to break away from

Actually, it had been almost exactly 400 years since slavery began in the US. 399 years, to be exact. If you listen to his full statement, in context, it becomes clear what he is talking about.
