Yeah, I just dropped $150 on a crowdfunding campaign for third party The Lost & The Damned (from Wargames Atlantic), so I can't really afford to expand my Drukhari army right now. Especially since I've already got a Venom and some Kabalites I need to assemble and paint.

Do this for Thousand Sons! You know you want to Brad.
As someone that worked at a print shop saying “kick it and hope the demon inside is happy” made me laugh so much, I swear no one understands how printers work. Also this experience is something that has been putting me off 3d printers

I am all for an episode where you talk about what armies could use 3d printing and models you suggest if they do. Iam just starting to get into it myself and it has been a nightmare so far, but that was because my first printer was broke so I recently got a 2nd and its working like a dream. I am currently waiting for 10th edition datasheets to come out to decide what army I want as my main.

Yes I’d love more 3d print knowledge. There are some armies that would be simply unattainable for me with official GW plastic but could consider an alternative.

What printer did you get, and what did you replace it with? I (and others) would like to avoid a repeat of that nightmare. I mean unless you know it was a problem on your end with it. (And even then, avoiding that would be good.)
@undertalebob3207

@@Sorain1 I do think my first printer was just unlucky. It was a Elegoo Mars 3. I couldnt get it to print more than the base of the test model. It had some weird glitch where it wouldnt save a new default Z-axis height I put in and a screw for the plate broke. Since then I got a Photon Mono 4 and it is much more newbie friendly and auto levels its own plate so you dont have to. Also has a plate that can adjust with screws if you want to ad in a magnetic plate to it. I never got to print with my Mars 3 but from what I hear I think the Mars 3 is supposed to print faster? The Photon Mono 4 has been great so far.
I would LOVE to see this become a regular series, with folks talking about their armies, how they built them, and what they liked
Excellent video. If I may make 2 suggestions as someone who actually films and edits videos for a living. 1. Increase the volume by a few decibles. I personally like having it average at -6 decibles, peaking at 0, but that is an opinion thing. 2. Love the turntable shots. If you are using a camera with a lense that has manual focus, set the focus to the closest model. If you can adjust the aperture to f/16 or smaller this will let you get more models in focus. If your camera doesn't have a lense you can swap or doesn't have manual focus, this worked, but the auto focus swapping whenever a model wasn't in the middle third of the frame was a tad distracting. Other than that, loved the format and the content. Y'all did great on this episode.
Really enjoying this format, love hearing about your hobby and kitbashing! army looks absolutely dope. No notes, MORE CONTENT NOW.
I love hearing people talking about things they enjoy/are passionate about, so this episode was right up my alley. The only comments can think of at the moment: Maybe talk about why you picked what you did and how feel about it after you got it? Not from a strictly competitive perspective but overall. As a hypothetical example: Before - "The model looked sweet and the made it seemed like it could fill this gap in my armies abilities." After- "I still think it looks sweet, but it totally doesn't do the job I thought it would. Not great, but a lot of fun because x and would definitely include in crusade games."
Don't listen to that Grey Knight jarhead! Be proud of your army lore - you're just engaging in one of the oldest human activities - telling stories.

I would love to hear this for Brad's K-Sons or Eric's Grey Knights/Orks, would be a lot of fun!
This is great! I love listening to people just enjoying their army
This was a lot of fun, would love to see more of these half army showcase half story
The Drukhari boats look so cool. I would want to maximize those boats as much as I could if I could afford to build a second army (I'm slowly working on finishing my T'au army).
This is probably my favorite episode so far you guys have done. More like this at some point for all your armies please. Even if it's only tot all about the possible need for 3d printing
Great video !! Love this kind of content. It's super cool to have an in-depth look at your army and the experience building it
For my death guard I'm planning to use some old zombies from Warhammer fantasy battle. I got more then a few arms laying about so it'll add some nice creepiness to them I hope. Maybe even turn a few of them into cultists. Kit bashing is great when you've got old stuff laying about. Now if only I could find those dryads i had... spikey bits are always handy for chaos.
Army showcase videos like this are my favourite, do more please!!!!
this format is amazing! We get to hear the knowledge, sprinkle it with humor and stories, and most importantly see the stuff you guys talk about!
It amuses me your thoughts on the Tantalus, because of you guys Ive already started work on a Drukhari army centered around a 3d printed Tantalus necause its a massive centerpiece boat and I love that. This video has been a great way to get a taste of the different units and get some ideas of what i want to build my pirate crew...
Had to come here after listening to the podcast version just to see the army and it's beautiful. Love the white and red aesthetic.
Really enjoyed this video, its fun seeing your perspective on an army you've collected I would look forward into seeing more armies in this style. Love this idea 34:55, honestly would enjoy seeing someone talk more about 3d printing in general. Also I thought it was funny how you mentioned that you used the razor wing jetfighter like once, and you can actually see the cobwebs on it
This is one of my favorite episodes so far! thanks for sharing, love your paint scheme.
Anything you guys wanna do each week is good with me, i never miss a video. Thanks for the great content!
This is great to listen to at work. I would love to see more of these episodes. It is fun to hear about your personal experience with your army and what you love and hate about it
I would love to see more videos like this. the video about how much 3d printing each army helps sounds really fun!
the model collection is sublime, im even on board with 90% of the paint choices, this is inspiring, thanks so much for sharing
I love this format. Can't wait to see your other armies!
this was refreshing. As some one who may have to start all over again due to circumstances. if i have to rebuild this was helpful in what things work and what can be 3rd partied.
I would love to hear more about your armies, especially those from your playgroup. This has been really fun listening.
This was a fun episode and more in this format would be fun. And a episode on which armies benefit the most from 3d printing could be fun. I'm guessing imperial guard benefits a lot from 3d printing since that army is so expensive. Plus you could theoretically print bases to use with spare bits you get from tank kits.
I've gone through so much of your backlog after discovering you a bit ago and this is my favorite style of episode for sure!
This is great, really enjoyed it. Had a lovely time listening to it while kitbashing my Corsair kill team. Look forward to hearing about your other armies
I like this format. Would love to see both of y'all do it for your armies, and then maybe invite others on to do an episode with y'all for their armies. Its always great to hear about an army from someone who plays it and loves the faction.
These kind of videos are invaluable for new and intermediate players such as myself, You should 100% do more.
Loving this type of video, it gives an idea of how much work you spent and basic order of stuff
Orcs or greyknights next please! I like this format as well btw
Yeah, this was a really fun episode. I really like talk thats about the "hobby", and not just painting, gameplay or lore. Please do these for as many armies as you can!
Please make more of these videos. I love hearing stories of people's armies and collections. I enjoyed the choice of alternate models. If you could include more of the "I chose this army to spank this friend's army" that would be great. Historically, that was my main reason to assemble and paint new models.
Thanks guys, appreciate the turn table shots. Those wings were gorgeous
Just started them for the new 10th edition! So glad I found this gem of a channel (LET THE PAIN FLOW)
YES please do more of this!!
Great episode, love the format and want to hear about all tour armies. I’m new and have interest in in all the elves, so this was very helpful to get an overview on all aspects of collecting.
Beautifully painted army, love the wings on the scourges

Another great video, I've really enjoyed discovering this podcast. The editing and content is fantastic. I would really enjoy more videos in this series, or a video about building armies and the hobbying required. Thanks Guys!
Thank you, this was inspiring. I own a Start Collecting and a Kill Team for Drukhari, and this is a great way to plan for the future.
I feel like a "Why you'll love collecting: " could be a great recurring podcast theme to go for!
Love this, would love more!
genuinely enjoyed the content and would love to see more of it for other armies. I especially liked the pictures of the models, i personally would've loved to get a more detailed rundown on the paintjobs and what inspired the color choices as i lean a lot more into the painting side of the hobby.
I love the Drukharii, very atmospheric fluffy army, I made a Kabal one and I love it as a riding party and the models are cool
I love finally seeing your model in the show ! I hope to see your Thousand Sons and Orks

Love this format guys. Would love to hear about y'alls other armies!
Loved to see Brad's evil space elves. Especially those kitbashes and proxies. Top shelf stuff. My Drukhari army is fairly small. 3rd edition Kabalites, one (1) old metal Helion (no flight stand, so I had to build one from a chunk of sprue, made to look like they're crashing through a piece of metal debris jutting from the ground), and an old metal Archon that was missing his clawed gauntlet. I got a trio of the metal models (the third was an ugly old metal Wych) for really cheap, because the Archon was missing that arm. So I had to kitbash a power sword arm from bits I had left over. (And because the arrangement of gun and melee weapon was reversed for the Archon, compared to every modern Drukhari kit, I had to clip a power sword blade off a left hand and glue it to a gun holding right arm.) Working with these old models gave me an appreciation for them (except for the Wych), that I didn't have going in. But I've also not started working on the newer plastic kits I own, so I have no point of comparison here. I'll probably use the new Kabalites as Trueborn, as if they got all the newer armor. I did some other kitbashes for my 3e Kabalites. They were used, preassembled models, some in states of unfinished assembly or disrepair. I gave one a jank pose, to look like a Sergeant firing a pistol (not the original weapon on its arm) while holding a sword upside down behind his back. My attempt to make him more dynamic, which only sort of works. The model I'm really proud of, though, is the Kabalite that originally came broken off her base, having left a foot behind. (Naturally, the base + foot did not make it into the job lot I bought). Having no extra feet, I kitbashed a blade from one of the splinter rifles and glued it to the leg stump. So it looks like a bladed peg leg. I also stuck her, as if hopping, on top of a bit of sprue on the base. To give her a bit more impression of forward motion. I couldn't line the left hand so it was holding the rifle (the arm was also broken off, and didn't line up when reattached flush), so I gave her a little techno doodad I pillaged from my Space Marine bits. So in summation, a Kabalite with a blade for a peg leg, hopping on a chunk of metallic debris, while looking at a looted Imperial device. I call her Peg'hi, and she is my favorite.
This is a really great episode. I'd like more. I don't know if you have done more because I've started listening but I've been picking episodes at random.
Liked this one a lot! Would definitely enjoy more of it, and would also like your take on "3D printing on army X".
I want to see a Thousand Sons of this and Eric's Grey Knights. I *do* want to get into Drukhari. They're calling...but...I want to wait for a range refresh. I'm sure it'll be like 5 years at least, but I just don't want to go in hard with the current state of the range. I do have a number of the Imperitum and Edge STLs - just want to see what happens.
Really liked this episode! Would like to see a similar episode for Eric’s ork army. (But I might be biased since that’s my faction)
I like this format/idea of video. It is hitting home extra for me as Dark Eldar were my first army ever. I thought the Incubi were the most BA looking thing ever. I had a ton of fun kit-bashing and converting a lot of my army. Would be cool to see this style vid for other factions too. Maybe invite a guest to show off any other armies you didn't personally collect.
Absolutely excellent episode. Please do more. I dabbled in drukhari but sacked it off when I saw it was all kitbashing and I found no joy in making a Talos. I know I will get back to the space perverts but it needs a large range refresh. I've put together a smorgasbord board of slaanesh since: demons, CSM, chaos knights:) very excited:) yes, please more episodes like this. It was great:)
I made my 4 Slythss with a box of AoS (of course) melusai from the Daughters of Khaine, the spare Splinter Carbines from the Scourges and all the power swords and splinter pistols from the kabalites, using for their torsos the ones from the raiders and the heads are genestealer ones (actually genestealer skulls from the skull set made for bases, but the ones with actual flesh should work too) and some greenstuff to make cobra-like flaps on the neck and the side of their heads. And my wracks are Kairic acolytes (again from AoS, Tzeentch range now) with Bonereaper heads painted as skull helmets, then adding all the smaller vials and other stuff from the Talos/Chronos. Drukhari is SO GOOD when it comes to conversion and kitbashing.
"Disaster on the back end" was my nickname in prison. Great stuff guys, just found your videos and im loving them 👍.
Stunning army, inspired me to do some more converting for my Drukhari!
I love this episode!! I’m trying to get the whole family into Warhammer, and my daughter picked Drukhari!
I don't play or collect, but I love hearing about all of this stuff from the perspective of people that do. It's all fascinating and you guys make it very entertaining, especially when you explain the random BS stuff in lore and why Razerback's are "free", ect... heh Keep it up.
As someone that owns 20 kabites from eBay and wants to get into kill team and 40k this is fantastic for what I wanna do when starting.
Very cool! Would love to see an overview of the other armies. Thx
Please do a 3D printing episode! Would like to hear your thoughts on FDM vs Resin too
I really loved this podcast/video. I'm planning a Dark Eldar army around a mix of Idoneth Deepking, Daughter of Kaine and Drukhari kits. Your approach with the nurgle fly's is really good and could fit in, maybe adding some Gellerpox bits for the marine esthetic. Damned too much ideas not enough time and money... Could be cool hearing Eric's experience for his new faction
This was really fun.
Great video; I loved seeing your models! Next time, it would be great if you included recommendations on how to start collecting the army: what is a core of useful units to make sure you have? Which units are best for trying each play style? Etc
I really like the idea of this kind of episod !

Do more of these! Great video
I love this, I would like to see All your armies, Great job guys
I feel you on the kitbashing to replace failcast. I did that for my Necron Lord.
I think it's very interesting. If anything, I'd like a bit more information on what else is available in the range/army, and why you don't use/have it.
This format works very well! If you enjoy this, I’d definitely like this as a series going forward.

Wyches are my favorite part of Drukhari. But I also love painting faces and skin in general. Oh, and Scourges and Venoms are my favorite thing in Drukhari.
I enjoyed this format, the story and what you might do differently is a nice angle
Great episode as always, 'please do this for tau' he asks totally unselfishly. Haha. Do whatever you guys want, but id love a tau video!
This was a really cool episode. I’d love to see more of these Also, if you’re doing a 3D print episode, it’d be great if there were some suggestions for where to find files
Awesome, drukhari has been my main and only 40k for the last 3 years. I haven't played the game and get really into the painting so my perspective is a bit different. I think this video gives really great info on the different aspects of the army. One thing I found funny is that I do the opposite for faces. I swapped helmets with faces on 30 kabalite troops. I apreciate the aesthetic of these pale elvish faces and their expressions. I like that drukhari has a larger variety of items and textures too paint than many armies Drukhari feels like it takes well to high level paint jobs. They feel like a horde-leaning army so there are a lot of troops. Many of the miniatures are small. Drukhari often has a clean style which generally takes longer to paint l. And then the vehicles need to be painted. IMO drukhari is a top 5 most difficult 40k army to paint. I love the vampire and pirate themes. I feel it's not the best casual army to get into, but it has a fine aesthetic, feels unique, has tons of variety, has lots of technical painting potential, kitbahing potential, and 3d printing potential.
