Those on the west who can afford to, should go visit Africa. And if you find your peace or your purpose; act on it. There is some thing that happens when you go home; I cant explain it.
*******Until Africa is respected, no black person in the diaspora will be respected. Does not matter how successful you become; THEY WILL remind that you are BLACK/AFRICAN. Grant us the Rights of Abode, and together we build a continent that will command respect and equal treatment for Africans all over the world*****.

    @@AfroJamaican Ok great .Easier for White to travel from Europe and their colonies Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand and most of the world with their passports but very difficult for Black people in the continent to travel especially outside the continent . Official modern passports introduced in 1920s and Visas etc have been used by white and some extent Asian groups to play an unfair advantage in the planet .Those Kenyans might be wanting to strike a balance between inviting black people and playing international geo-politics .

    Thank you very much my fellow Jamaican Brother! I am only one of those Jamaicans who are so desperately want to go home to the continent and cannot afford the fees especially to Kenya! We really want to come home! I am one of many living in Canada but are Jamaicans trying to go home but the finances are too stiff and are having a hard time finding our way back home. Even those in the USA who I personally know and want to come home , but we are on the lower spectrum of the financial scale and cant even kinď the airfare and thè moving costs but yes they are our brothers and sisters who desperately need to come home but are shut out because of such horrendous and exorbitant prices and cost. I will join my brother from the Caribbean on the plea to concertedly with many or all countries grant us the right to abode and live to come home! The airfare is already so high and we have to pay to live on a monthly basis but many if not most havent got the means to make the transition. So yes I support the plea for our people who want to come home! We need several countries to conversely to come together and help us make the transition to give us some help for us to come home.

    This really make so me angry! WHY DO WE MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE WHO LOOK LIKE US, AND ARE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, TO COME TO AFRICA? LAND SHOULD BE ALLOCATED TO DIASPORAS FIRST AND FOREMOST! The investments (money, labor, time, expertise, experience, etc.) into the country are a boost to the economy. Why is it so hard to understand that the more Black people there are on the continent, the stronger Africa is? This is not rocket science! President Ruto, please! Wake up!!!

I researched Ghana’s Right of Abode; and the process is not transparent. You will need to pay “Facilitation” fees. And the land buying process is Ghana is not for the weak lol. I am not giving up on Kenyan… that’s where I feel I belong. I will keep you all updated!

    My brother, it’s a lot to explain; you can watch my other videos for what I have been going through. Most of the Americans you see there have to leave and come back every three months. And the ones who are there may be earning from outside kenya or on a student visa. Thanks for your comment!!

  • @Homeground38

    Bro, u r going the wrong way in trying to settle permanently, start with a student visa/ Swahili language school long term visa and work your way slowly. Kenya is tough even for kenyans trying to regain citizenship.Sad but there's no emotional connection for diaspora especially on the American,it simply doesn't register

  • @AfroJamaican

    @AfroJamaican

    I hear what ur saying. But I can’t do that. I have a family and responsibilities; I can’t just “wing it”. And to me, a student visa is not for me. I am already making money in kenya, but I could be running other businesses and hiring people. I have already invested so much in Kenya… so it’s hard for me to walk away. My wife on the other hand says, sell the land, and find another African country that’s more hospitable. If I do have to give up Kenya, it will just buy an apartment in the DR and take lots of vacation till I retire.
