It's not by mistake that you may have had a negative outlook on Ruto. There's been deliberate efforts by his political rivals in collusion with aligned media to paint that picture. Now, he's not had a perfect record. That's an impossible standard for any Kenyan politician. Ruto deserves his chance to deliver for Kenyans, especially the ones who've been getting left behind historically.

I don't need the media to inform me that CAS is unconstitutional or that privatization despite the projected profits, will take more money from people. @@johnmruka7984 I empathize with everyone who's HELB got delayed, including your bro. I think these are part of the tough decisions that have to be made, by anyone who was going to become president. Something somewhere has to give. And it won't be easy or pretty whatever path is taken. The public entities looking to get privatized have been operating at losses for years, they are currently of no economic help to mwananchi. Unfortunately, the time of reckoning is here with us. Things we've been enjoying such as artificially better dollar exchange rates, subsidized food and fuel prices and other government programs were just not sustainable in the long term. Yes we have enjoyed better times in the past, but it's mainly been a house of cards that was going to start crumbling at one point or another.

This has been a great interview👏🏾. Its shedding a lot of light to what's really going on in President Ruto"s mind. I'd suggest to hold such an interview regularly to dispel doubts and cool off hot heads.👍🏾

Kenyans are very clear just as much as Ruto thinks he's clear. We must stop the suffocating taxes. Kenyans will not allow govn't officers to walk into our homes and tax our chickens and dogs and cows and camels. There are limits. Ruto can push his agenda, but he must keep off our spaces. What he says is far divorced from what he actually does. Ground iko different.

Man the way this man talks is scary and it's even more scary that no one is noticing it - he talks like a king i.e: I invested, mine, I decide e.t.c almost like he thinks we are an autocracy - it's like he believes taxpayer money belongs to him. We will continue to bleed with this man but maybe he's the push we Kenyans need to take politics and the people we elect more seriously and calling them out on their BS. Great Interview.However, the media should really do more research next time and come better prepared. The president has cleared up some issues and explained some strategies. I still feel your team is letting you down Mr President. Try your way tuone....We as Kenyans should be objective and allow the President to work and if anyone has any better ideas to put forth...

Rto gives value to time. He cuts out the trivial political issues and makes the journalists attend to the serious economic issues. This guy is the best. I wish we could get these interviews every month.

I did a catchup as i did not get on it live..but truth be told its all textbook talk but actually very different from a third eye..1..if at all his election was upheld by the court he should have also embraced the court decision on the housing levy as it was unconstitutional null and void..2..if at all privatisation why doesnt he let the housing program be done by the private entity and subsidise it for the people,once its out there for everyone to see..atleast sonething that is tangible..am yet to see the houses that cost 400,000..ati mukuru inakaa europe..3..you were in the government just before being president,what did you do that is able to be related to your development agenda that you are pushing for..4..about the education sector, capitation in schools and hiring of teachers, there is a much bigger problem that you dont want to face and being devoid..4..about taxes they are punitive..5..you went against your message to kenyans that you wont borrow,so what happened..
